will someone please explain to me why this murder is getting so much attention? i understand it was an innocent child murdered in cold blood, but why aren't other cases like this given this much publicity?

Zimmerman was not even given a test for drugs. A dog shooting would have received more attention from the police. because the prosecutors couldn't even justify a charge of manslaughter... you do realize that trayvon was on top of zimmerman beating him silly when george shot him? george was begging someone to help and no one would... all they know how to do is run inside and lock the doors and call 911. False. No one, as far as I know, saw the incident. However, at least two neighbors heard their altercation. Trayvon was crying and pleading to Zimmerman. They have made a statement to that effect.
