Well done OP, I wish you love and luck on your journey out of addiction. It takes a tremendous amount of courage and resolve to stay clean.

Now that you are done with artificial happiness, what are the things in life that give you true happiness? Those are the things that can fill the hole that drugs will leave in your life.

I was addicted to drugs at one point myself, and found in a spiritual sense it was like existing on a diet of junk food. I was constantly filled, but never nourished. I was so busy getting high and wandering around in mental circles that I never took the time to see the world for the transcendent miracle that it is. Reality has become much more fascinating to me than any trip I ever took.

Kicking the physical addiction is a challenge, but meeting it head on will help you develop the will and confidence to face the things that drugs were helping you to escape. That's much harder. Stay strong.
