I'm no expert, but I've been watching these sites for years. Shameless The youngster said angrily " If our founding Fathers could see what is going on, they would roll over in their graves!" The Ol'Timer shook his head and smiled. " No, they would be grabbing their guns". WANT CHANGE??? Quit paying your income tax. |

I think I'll google the area, and see what features are in that area. The youngster said angrily " If our founding Fathers could see what is going on, they would roll over in their graves!" Watch this video, it talkes about Yellowstone about 1/2 way into it. Good Luck! Kat I've been to the area Dutch is talking about. Locally called the Valley Of Fires. It would not surprise me at all if that area became active again. Geologically speaking; its a young lava field. Southwest of there, is the Kneeling Nun. An 'extinct' volcano. My grandfather worked for the Highway Dept in NM. He said between Socorro and Truth or Consequence on 25; that there is a crack that they continually have to fill that opens up across the highway. He said one time he dropped and stone in there before they filled it, and he said he never heard it stop bouncing off the walls on the way down. The youngster said angrily " If our founding Fathers could see what is going on, they would roll over in their graves!" The Ol'Timer shook his head and smiled. j. User ID: 13184559 United States 03/25/2012 10:51 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's like a rhythmic pulse. You know that during the GWBush administration, USGS and other earhquake monitoring organizations were put on permanent order to NOT dislose any unusual or increased seismic activity at Yellowstone to the public. So anything we see or hear related to seismic activity at Yellowstone has been censored, altered and pre-approved for our eyes. The caldera has risen and fallen over the years, is obviously alive and active - but they won't tell us it's going to blow until after the ptb are securely sheltered and it's too late for the rest of us. . |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 8535948 United States 03/25/2012 10:57 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The pattern appears to be caused by something which is repeating at a consistent interval with regularity. The pattern is ~3-4 minutes "on" followed by ~4-5 minutes off. It is also apparent that the frequency of the pattern intervals changed this morning from ~5 minutes to ~4 minutes. However, i do not think this is a HAARP induced pattern. It is more likely that the seismograph is being induced by local vibration interference coming from a nearby piece of equipment operating in an automated manner. (think water pump, generator, refrigerator, etc,) Does anyone have eyes on the ground near there to confirm what may be happening in the immediate vicinity of the lake? The seismograph patterns should be monitored so that any change in the pattern can be noted. |
thesleeper (OP) User ID: 4521274 United States 03/25/2012 11:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I went to Google Earth looking for any man made structures, or equipment. That was my first thought also, since the other seismographs aren't showing anything. The area is wilderness. Not to say that there isn't something there now. The youngster said angrily " If our founding Fathers could see what is going on, they would roll over in their graves!" The Ol'Timer shook his head and smiled. " No, they would be grabbing their guns". WANT CHANGE??? Quit paying your income tax. |

Thanks. those are the standard daily seismographs (every hour) for various locations at Yosemite Park. the particular seismic chart that OP is pointing out shows a distinct wave pattern "over-layed" over the whole page of the line by line tracing of the earthquake rumbling that is shown. we are hoping some expert will chime in and tell us what the "diffraction pattern" looking thing indicates. |
