There are no hell flames burning up Michael Jackson nor any other individual. Stop this nonsence! Can you not understand that Jesus as well as others taught with symbology and this was done for a reason. To make the believer think and move from belief to knowledge. I suppose you would also say the same about Whitney Houston as well. She had real problems with addictions, but the music she shared elevated people.
One day really soon the erroneous belief systems are going to be shattered by the truth. That day can not come soon enough. As a child this hell fire damnation shit scared me to death with nightmares. I had to stop going to that church or rather my mom stopped me going there. My mom is a very spiritual and devoted christian woman. She taught me to love and gave me a wonderful spiritual foundation based on the teachings of Jesus.

Hell fire and damnation are taught from the pulpit and pushed as a fear tactic of control. Fear is not of God. If fear is used as a motivator then the person doing this is not practicing correct principles based on the teachings of Jesus. God is patient and long suffering but there also comes a time when justice must be honored. This is divine order.

Why put such utter garbage on here. No one is in hell, there has been no white throne judgement. Get over it.

A soul can not burn eternally in hell's flames. Hell is a state of beingness based mostly on self judgement. Damnation means to stop the flow of. Damnation in the religious and practical sense is a barrier to progression. growth and expansion. Many live lives of damnation by choice and closed minds. Damnation can be a result of decision followed by no actions. Satan has been desolved or uncreated by his own personal choice due to his arrogance and pride, yet his minions are still active on this planet, and humankind has a choice to do good or bad. We are therefore capable of being our on satan. Many on this world are ruled by the internal struggles of that satan within, but people have a choice and are divine by creation. The soul is eternal and came from purity and love, that is God.

Angelica, your intention is appreciated but your perception is ruled by FEAR. Love casteth out all fear. I can understand where you are coming from because I once let this type of fear rule my perception. I let it go and let God. Our minds are capable of producing things that appear very real to us. We project our selves into certain scenarios because we do not feel worthy enough. FEAR equates to destruction, not only of the physical but the spiritual. Consider this dear one.

Yes, there was a being known as Satan but he chose uncreation of his own free will and because in his arrogance he refused to accept the error of his choices and actions. There was also Lucifer which did his master Satan's service on this planet. There were other devils too. The sad thing is people tend to blame everything on the devil, satan or lucifer. Devils do exist, bad energy does exist, if it did not why would so many experience what they experience and it ain't all in the head. Some is real and some is perceived. We have choice here and as such can do evil on our own as well as good. God's grace is sufficient and long....I mean very long suffering. The hate is in your own perception. Intolerance is more accurate an accessment. The kingdom of God is within and you are the king of your private domain. Jesus taught this. He never asked to be worshiped. He came to enlighten.

A true leader seeks not self glorification, nor do they need it. Jesus does not want us to fall down and worhip him. He wants us to rise and live His teachings with heads held high. This is not pride. His greatest followers are those that lead with this concept in mind.
We fall down and worhip because of reverance to who He is. This is a taught human response. It is not necessary as He knows our hearts already.

Scripture is also packed with symbolism, using illustrative terms to describe things which are not to be taken literal. Consider the biblical definition of "destruction":
Deuteronomy 4 warns the Israelites that they'll be destroyed when they adopt the ways of the heathen and serve idols. This "destruction" of the children of Israel is defined there as being scattered among the nations to serve more idols, and includes the provision that when they finally seek God, they'll find Him, because God is merciful and will not(?) destroy them. We can see here that "destruction" is not absolutely an annihilation in which persons cease to exist, yes? In this case, it's referring to earthly difficulties. People use the term "destroy" in the same exact allegorical manner today, usually when talking about merely defeating someone or "putting them in their place". Nevertheless, we've been brainwashed via Religion's fossilized mindset that "destruction" unquestionably equals the disastrous and eternal ruin of one's soul with no remedy or recourse whatsoever.

In contrast, this same exact word basanizo appears in the gospels a couple of times, but is translated differently than in Relevation. . .

Matthew 14: But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.

Mark 6: And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.

Toiling and tossing is the nature of the "torment" they underwent on an actual lake. Struggling to row against the current is no fun, but does it mandate being "vexed with grievous pains"? Perhaps this provides a little insight on the nature of the "torment" experienced in the Lake of Fire. Or not. I dunno.

Well, no - it's not heresy if that's what's in the text. You can always count on hired scholars to cry "heresy" on anything scriptural that doesn't correlate with established religious doctrine. Back in the day, Pharisees were outraged at the sight of Jesus dining with sinners, while today they're indignant at the notion that He isn't going to roast them alive.

Likewise, Strong's Concordance defines aionios as follows:

1) without beginning and end, that which always has been and always will be
2) without beginning
3) without end, never to cease, everlasting

Ironically, though, the first chapter of Titus mentions the "hope of (aionios) life which God promised before the (aionios) began (chronos)".
This is quite a contradiction.

And in Philemon, Paul asks him to take in a disiple named Onesimus, who has departed from Paul for a season that thou may receive him forever (aionios)".
You suppose if we went to Phil's house, Onesimus is still sitting there studying?

Jude mentions Sodom and Gomorrha being made an example of, suffering aionios fire. Oddly, those "eternal fires" have ceased burning. That's not very endless.

Highly interesting that a finite duration x2 (or even squared) = endless infinity. What kind of math is that?

I'm sorry, but I can't be all that impressed with a God who tells me and you to not let the sun go down on our wrath, while He supposedly harbors endless wrath for anyone. Especially when He also goes around saying things like "Be ye perfect as I am perfect". That would make Him a cosmic hypocrite. Fortunately, it's not so.

Here's a list of things which are not literally fire, but which scripture *describes* as fire:

"Our God is a consuming fire" - Hebrews 12 (an echo of Deuteronomy 4:24)

"Is not My word like fire?" - Jeremiah 23

He makes "His ministers a flame of fire" - Hebrews 1 (also Psalm 104)

fiery trials = sharing in the sufferings of Christ - 1 Peter 4

Israel's captivity in Egypt = "an iron furnace" - Deuteronomy 4:20

A "fiery law" proceeded from God's right hand - Deuteronomy 33

Furthermore, in Isaiah 42, God says He set Israel "on fire", and they didn't even realize it. How can this be explained if the fire is literal?!

Here we have the crux of the issue: if you take away religionists' blazing abyss, they no longer see any point to the gospel. Obviously, these folks are no better off than they were before coming to Christ, because apparently all they're getting out of it is a reprieve from the mythical cosmic barbecue. Never mind that the scriptural definition of eternal life is knowing God in Christ (John 17:3) and says nothing about ending up someplace.


See, self-righteous religious people have no problem with the "wicked" being tortured endlessly, because they haven't seen their own insides to comprehend that *none* of us deserve any better. They're just glad it's not them heading for hell - which is, by the way, a punishment wich no decent human being would wish upon another for any reason. Surely we fallen schmucks are not more merciful than the Lamb, are we? Hebrews calls Him the express image (charakter) of God, so we can pretty much learn what God is like by examining Christ as depicted in the gospels. He befriended outcasts and He criticized the proud religionists, being the scribes and Pharisees. He was offended at the hardness of their hearts, specifically their prioritization of religious ritual over compassion for their fellow man.

In Exodus 21, God gives the Israelites the famous eye-for-an-eye and tooth-for-tooth decree, mandating that any sentence must match the crime committed, so as to prevent going overboard with punishment. It also demands burn for burn in verse 25. Biblically, in order to "earn" for oneself an afterlife of endless burning, you would have to burn people endlessly here during your life on earth. Obviously, such a thing is not even possible. Per God's own Law, your precious eternal hellfire is *unlawful*.

I know too many people who talk with Jesus everyday over coffee at breakfast to believe ANY prophecy/vision/whatever put forth by hand of man/woman. The 135 IQ's are just bright enough to spin a yarn by mistaking their own earthly imagination for God's-Word.

This is a very disturbing and unsettling representation of our Father with many inaccuracy. (Jesus has not changed His mind Malachi 3:6 I the LORD do not change ) pleases stop this and take it down, If demons are playing with your head and making you think things contrary to the Word of God don’t believe it rebuke and resist them in Jesus name and they will flee, believe the Word and seek Him in Spirit and truth don’t ask for a sign ask for LOVE.

You must have known Michael Jackson personally, since it seems like you know much more about his faith and beliefs than his family, friends or even himself. Though it is not nearly as sinister as worshipping satan, assuming, judging and condemning others to hell, too, isn't exactly what we, as Christians, should be doing.
