A Big Website seems to have disappeared

Its gone and the domain can be purchased.

Seriously, its a big site, over 300,000 visitors I think, I've been on it for almost 2 years, everyday, its soooo bizarre. Some bogus tax site holding place type site comes up. Could it be their server crashed maybe?

No cause if you check the domain you can buy it for like 10 bucks a year.

I can't either. I'm trying to stay calm, if its gone for good, thats an incredible loss. We had a huge community there with lots of light and love. I don't want to jump to conclusions but if the domain is for sale, does that rule out a server crash (which means it might be temporary)?

Its kind of like this site, not as large of course and less focus on conspiracy type info. and more on ascension, raising consciousness etc. We watched all the weather/earth changes there as well. There was a big channeling section and a big blog section. I do not recall anything particularly controversial happening last day or so and we got absolutely no clues about this.

The guy just forgot to pay his domain renewal fees for the LightWorkers.org domain i believe. No conspiracy here.

From checking updated WHOIS data on the internet, it appears its been renewed today so should be online and available again within 24 hours.

yes, i've been on Light...... for 5+ years, so i was rather taken aback by the situation. Hopefully, as someone above notes, it will be back soon. At first i assumed it was hacked...it seems strange that the dude in charge, a Capricorn as i recall, would forget a payment :)

How would you feel, if you clicked on GLP and it was gone....poof, nadda, nuthin, your compassion is underwhelming

I have a lot of empathy for how you're feeling, Isis, because I felt much the same way about a year ago when GLP just closed down for like 3 or 4 days, with no notice, just a strange message from Trin on the screen. I'd made several friends here as well as getting familiar with many of the regular posters, and my feeling was like they'd all been on a ship which had suddenly sank beneath the ocean.

I was SO HAPPY AND THANKFULL when GLP came back!!!

I hope that you get the same joyous feeling tomorrow when "that site" returns for you and so many others.
