Called BS earlier.. Seems Grand Lake has spent great amount of resources into adding earthquake drills to the safety procedure. Hosting drills in November of 2011 [ link to grandlakenews.com] Oklahoma as we know sits on New Madrid. I being from Denver remember the operation Mountain Guardian recently where children were separated from their parents and taken to Mile High stadium as part of disaster response procedure. This probably is the same training in a different state. Really I don't think that anything bad will happen tomorrow, but what they are preparing for is indeed disturbing. Really in order to ultimately protect children from this would be to school them at home... Here's to hoping the world ends on the weekend! lol Sounds kinda like in New Orleans when they told everyone to go to that stadium. WE know how safe that turned out to be, people being mugged, shot, raped etc.. Great place for the kiddos. I agree if you don't want this to happen to your children in an emergency then get them out of public school and you and your family make your own safe spots in case of emergency. Home schooling is your friend.
