Armageddon if Spent Fuel Pool No. 4 collapses and melts down — Could change the world — Most likely consequence is that reactors 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6
Narrator: Yukitero Naka and his people know what is really happening in the nuclear ruins. [...] Even if they were able to create enough qualified engineers and staff for the next 40 years, one problem remains that could change Japan and the world.

Question: Is the nuclear power plant safe now?

Yukitero Naka, Nuclear Engineer: Well, that’s what TEPCO and the government says, but the people in there don’t believe it.

There is still a great danger.

My personal concern is the fourth reactor block.

The building has been strongly damaged by the earthquake.

There are approximately 1300 spent fuel rods in the cooling pond on level four. In the level above newer rods are stored as well as a lot of heavy machinery. This is all very, very heavy.

If another earthquake occurs then the building could collapse and another chain reaction could very likely occur.

Narrator: So, a meltdown under the free sky which would be the end of Japan as we know it today.

The radiation would be direct deadly.

The work on the ground would be totally impossible.

The most likely consequence is that reactors 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 get out of control.

Armageddon!

Fear of radiation a “psychiatric disorder” in Japan — The Cure? Have them work at decontaminating radiation, says doctor -Mainichi

Fear of radiation from Fukushima accident led to psychiatric disorder hospitalizations

Some 24.4 percent of people who were hospitalized in Fukushima with psychiatric disorders in the wake of the outbreak of the crisis at the crippled Fukushima No. 1 Nuclear Power Plant had done so possibly because of fears of radiation exposure, according to the results of research conducted by psychiatrists at Fukushima Medical University.

It has also been found that of all the outpatients at 27 hospitals in Fukushima Prefecture, 30 percent of them visited hospital apparently for reasons related to the nuclear crisis, according to the research conducted by psychiatrist Akira Wada and others at Fukushima Medical University. [...]

There were reports on the mental effects of radiation from the troubled Chernobyl nuclear power plant, but the research was conducted about 10 years after the outbreak of the nuclear disaster. Shinichi Niwa, professor at Fukushima Medical University, said, “I have the impression that the nuclear accident had such a great impact (that many people were admitted to hospital). Take decontamination work for example, people can feel secure if they do it themselves, rather than if they ask others to do it. It is also important to ease anxieties over radiation exposure with participation of local residents in such a program.”

Poster child for shutting down Nuclear power plants.

The MSM stopped covering it because it was worse than any thought.

Not much they can do with it, hope and pray.

Even if we started shutting down plants in the US now, still take 15-20 before we could move the fuel, and where are we going to move it to?

We'll never know how bad this thing really is, all the deaths that will come latter, and far from Japan.
“Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean;
Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight.
Cease to do evil,
Learn to do good;Seek justice,
Reprove the ruthless,Defend the orphan,Plead for the widow.

Your Governance is puppet whore of the Banks, it is not a real boy. Stop pretending it can move on it's own.

I really want to know what our great and lovely Company
had done (all Hail to Tepco)
the Explanations are not so easy to read
but as far as i understand it the SFP Nr. 4 is relative stable,
we had since last year many, many Earthquakes
in, under and around that area ,
afir the max for Daiichi it self was a Mag. 5.6,
since them they made it even more stable!

They stabilized that Pool and supported every important Part
and the Cooling lines are flexible.

A Accident through a EQ/ Tsunami is my biggest Fear
and i hope that they will find a Solution asap
because i am going really sad/ mad with the permanent Fear.

On the other side is this trouble a good Sign,
this Pool is still there and not like many People
here, and on other dubious Web Sites claimed, exploded,
i hope that they learn and realize this
because their stupidity, lies, ignorance and foolish behavior makes me sick too!

It is crazy that a Nuclear Company, the Japanese Government,
ASEAN and even the whole World are unable to move this Stuff
out now and store it in a more safe space on the Ground!

They should fly in the German Castor Cask and put that Fuel inside
afaik a Castor can hold even relative fresh Waste!

5 Stars and Pin Suggestion, well done, Venceremos!
