Like you just said. No charges, no convictions. Why isn't the black kid getting the benefit of the doubt, when the guy that killed him is. No one here saw what actually happened. No one ANYWHERE saw what happened. George could have bashed his own head into the ground, after he shot the kid. Ask yourself what you might do before the cops showed up, if you just shot someone to death for no good reason. |

In the five minutes between the gunshot and the police's arrival, there wasn't enough time to make up a lie that would stick together and think of plausible self-inflicted injuries. This wasn't Scott Peterson plotting to murder his wife over a period of months. Way too many angles to think of in a several minute span of time, especially when all the neighbors are peeking out of their windows. Which is why the cops discounted all the creative conspiracy theories that Martin's supporters have cooked up. |

He is a lawyer in Florida. Lawyers generally have an adversarial relationship with the police, since they specialize in getting criminals, that the police worked long and hard to arrest, off with as little time as possible. |
