Why are there so many ZOMBIE movies?
Here is my wild theory (maybe not so wild). I'm suspicious about why there's so many zombie movies at the cinema and on TV. I haven't got a list but there's a lot. Its always the same scenario.. The world in ruins, a handful of survivors, every man for himself. They always show thousands of cars on the roads and basically you don't know when the next leper-like zombie is going to appear. Well my suspicion came because I'm a big believer that the next big false-flag will be staged to look like a threat from another world - yes aliens! The next bogey man will be more of a bogey alien and he will look like a "Gray". That got me noticing how many ALIEN ATTACK movies there are at the moment.. There's a LOT. Even the last transformers movie is about aliens attacking earth. (autobots= trucks, cool cars, all the fossil based machinery we're supposed to like, therefore the good guys. decepticons= from another planet, the bad guys). There's over 15 of these sort of alien attacks movies. I dont believe in coincidences this big. It seems like we're being mentally prepared for this scenario so we accept more when it comes. Like that movie FIGHT CLUB was really about terrorism IMO. All these clandestine underground groups who thrive on hate and meet up to fight. It was putting the idea of sleeper cells into everyone's mind. They even show the "controlled demolition" scene where they blow up all the buildings in a major city... That way when 9-11 hits you accept more (though you don't know why of course). So when I way too many Zombie shows and movies appearing I get suspicious. I've read reports they setting up Biological facilities all over the place with deliberately low security to RELEASE the diseases they contain - some of the labs have the most dangerous biological weaponry on earth (all for "research" purposes of course). There's over 200 of these over America. Now of course Zombies didn't become that way because of a biological attack.. But they DO walk around wheezing, with their flesh half falling off and you better run or they will "contaminate" you too! These movies show that you better arm yourself and shoot them. It's a Eugenicists' fantasy that we wipe ourselves out so that one day they can have the whole world to themselves and not have to keep looking at scum like us lol.

Main theme for zombie movies is sex and death. Even the Night of the living dead as this, but it was very subtle. But more apparent in Dawn of the Dead, and right in your face in the Dawn of the Dead remake.

To mentally prepare the people for the coming dehumanizitation of the 'masses'. The subhuman danger that must be feared and destroyed to protect 'our way of life'.
ie the introduction of the global totalitarian State.

they make movies they believe people will pay to see...if a certain genre becomes popular they flood the market with it..simple marketing...why do we feel the need to exaggerate every motive into something more sinister???

it only serves to distract from real issues...hey wait, maybe you people are the psyopdamnedpeace

I used to think that way too.. But then again, I used to think 9-11 was conducted by terrorists.
So as far as I'm concerned this is an issue. wink

I think its because a Zombie is an Archetype that signifies what most of the Population is.

Only a few Individuals are not infected by the Flock mentality. The Sheep are the Zombies.

The city dwellers that dont know how to live without the system.

And when it goes down they will turn into raving savage cannibals.

It has happened when other Civilizations Collapse.

That is why its in our Collective Psyche.

A Civilization would collapse for whatever reason and people would be starving and they would resort to cannibalism.

If the Collapse was very bad it would be more violent.

Also, as with one of the most popular zombie based books and games Resident Evil. Biochemical weapons released or, in this case, tested on unsuspecting masses in order to conduct tests on small rural towns to see the effects of their weaponized chems.
