Alright, it's happened again for about the hundredth time now and I need to know if anyone else has seen this:
You're driving along a long, deserted stretch of road or highway and see a person walking along that shouldn't 'be' there?
Today, I-295 south of Tampa, FL....long stretch of highway....no cars for a long while...no broken down vehicles noticed....middle of nowhere is an adult man walking in the emergency lane in a suit and tie, briefcase. Walking AWAY from any type of 'help'.
Happened at work a few times....see a quiet lady in the breakroom...she looks distant...occupied in thought...ask coworkers who the 'new' person is....no one knows who I'm talking about.
Have been in a roadside diner at 3am in the middle of Iowa. Noticed 3 men in overcoats in back booth...not talking...just sitting....staring ahead or down. NO cars except mine in lot...As I leave I see the 'Closed' sign turn on.
I call them 'droppers'....like they've just 'dropped' into our plane of existence...
Seriously, anyone else experience anything like this over the years?
