i dont believe this, but consider it a possibility. if someone went to a shrink and said they actually believe that we are all in some kind of computer simulation, would this count as a psychotic delusion?

Well after writing a post about this very topic I'd have to ask if this 'person' that went to said shrink thought they were delusional.

I mean, if an average Joe somehow grasps this very complex concept and freaks,...then, yes. He may very well lose his grasp on reality....whereas a theorhetical physicist wouldn't allow 'delusion' into his mind.

Neither scenario would be relevant to the 'programmers' as ANY resulting data would be useful.
