actually the police did not notify them until 3 days later. THey had already filed the missing person's report. Why is it that it took the police three days when his phone was on him?

Not really. My 15month old son died in 2009 from his carseat belt failing and strangling him. Sure, I could have hid myself from the world, but I didnt. I had to warn other mothers about that carseat and make people more aware.
I did not go through the lawsuit because it was just to hard to relive everything. I have another child that also witnessed the incident. However, I can sort of understand why Trayvon's mom would do this.
Someone will try to write a book, make a movie, song, or something to financially gain over her son's death.
They are doing it right now!

Last time I checked, proper names cannot be trademarked. That would mean no one could ever be named that name. That is not allowed.

But, she might get a "service mark" for a website or something like that, but she'll never get the principal mark, which is the really important one. I even doubt you can get a service mark with a proper name like that.
