I feel very upset at the harm that is going on.

If they exist, Mer-people may not be as friendly as the American investigators seemed to believe.

The pictures of the ancient Egyptian cave drawings clearly showed that the land people were using bows and arrows against the sea-folk.

Mer-people might also explain the hundreds of head-like structures filmed bobbing in and out of the water as the 2011 tsunami hit the shores of Japan - and might help to explain the 4,000 people still missing.

this makes sense now, as I was just about to post that I live in Washington state since late 2002(about the same time I started going on GLP)and am hour and a 1/2 from Moclips beach and recall no massive whale beaching in 2004, it would have been on the front of the paper had there been

also a google search shows no mass beaching in the state in 2004 either, other countries,yes, but nit in the PNW

now, I have not seen the whole vid yet because as soon as I saw the beaching in washington in 2004, I knew something was up, so did a search and found nothing

so this brings up what the kids recorded,it's fabricated as well, or is it real , the beaching scrubbed and presented in this manner so it seems fake ?

Interesting. I did some checking on one of the characters, "Dr. Gavin Dittmar" head of acoustic research at the University of Capetown. Such a person would surely be Google-able, I thought.

Turns out, he is. However, he is not a doctor nor is he a professor at Capetown University. He is a managing director for a wine company, and attended Capetown University, and currently lives in Johannesberg. He used his actual name in the film, however:

There is definitely something weird behind this program. It is not just some low-budget mockumentary, there was some serious money behind it (look at those ape costumes).

The question is, why put money into such a story? Why would Animal Planet endorse something containing EASILY verifiable lies? Is this perhaps intended to be thematically connected with James Cameron's trip down the Marianas trench?

There certainly appears to be some sort of project or experiment behind this film. Everyone involved is an easily verifiable actor (several of them using their ACTUAL names?) and yet at no point in the show is it announced that it's fake. Additionally, the show was allegedly aired on a channel that is known for factual nature documentaries, which definitely gives me the impression that it was intended to be passed as factual to the viewers.

This is just too odd.

It was in 1997 when the first "bloop" was heard. The boys took the video in 2004.

It'd be pretty neat if it were true, but two things these scientist said stood out like a sore thumb.

One: they called the animal direction an autopsy. when humans dissect different species is called a necropsy.

Second: They referred to a sea lion picture and called it a "Seal."

I guess the underlying message is for the Navy to discontinue its high frequency sonar.

I also like many watched the whole 2hrs. I think that at least some of you may be thinking about the murdering of whales. I don't think the government should be testing this type of crap in our oceans. It makes me wonder who they plan to use this weapon against. Our planet is is trouble, and instead of looking for ways to help us they are looking for ways to distroy the animals of the earth. are we next? Sonar nukes what is next. Should we be afraid.
