A key showed up on my key ring and now it is gone.

Perhaps we should start by ruling out the most logical conclusions. Given you were napping, it is quite possible someone could have stolen either the keys or the key on the keyring.

Given the key's size, it does not fit something of particular importance (so it's not a house or office key), but it's size denotes it's probably either a locker, shed/latch lock or even a car key - anything that utilises a very basic and very cheap locking mechanism. It's likely mass-produced, and as it was new, you can surmise it was cut recently for purpose.

Do you have any battered keys on your keyring which appear similar to the new key? Perhaps a key that could have been used as a template by a locksmith.

How long did you nap for?

Unsure how long I was out.

The key did not resemble any keys on my key chain they are all worn and scratched.

I fell asleep where I was sitting on the bed in front of my laptop then it was gone.

Planning, my boy! I'm always looking for a good prank to play on the hubbie (although not always on April 1 or he would get wise to me). The best was the rubber rat on the pool cover which he shot at, spun around, but didn't die! LOL! The giant snail on the bridge to the island of the pond was a pretty good one, too, as was the rubber fingernail polish spilled on the stairs (gave that idea to my teen daughter).

i have one of those atomic clocks...what makes it atomic, idk...lol

it is never supposed to lose more than a second in like a million years, etc. and it has a satellite thing on it that blinks when it links w/Ft something in Colorado

i have had it for a couple of years. well, about a year and half ago, i started notcing that the day displayed on it didn't match the day it was.

i went through the mode selection to check it out and make sure that it was set right. it wasn't. the year displayed would sometimes be 25 yrs in the future or more and sometimes less but always in the future.

i have changed the batteries because i thought they might be responsible. it kept happening and still does from time to time.

ive noticed a direct correlation between when it skips time and my dreams. usually, if i have intense and/or lucid dreams it jumps time. for real!

oh and i haven't been able to get it on EST...it supposed to be available when you go through the set up of it but the only timezone available is PST. So, i operate on PST even though i am EST. Weird!!

Where were the keys?

Couldn't begin to guess what happened to the key or where it came from. But, op, what is that Siltch drawing in your photo album?

Strange not being able to put clock on other time zones.

The keys were in front of me on the laptop when the key disappeared.

The Siltch is a unit that uses energy to melt and divide particles from shed debris of the Earth.

Did you notice the key right before you went to sleep? When was the last time you used the keyring before it appeared? Where do you keep your keys when you are in public?

Hopefully you put up the bar or chain in a hotel room when you are alone. You can buy portable internal safety devices to secure rooms with questionable access.

How long have you been a truck driver? What did you do before that? Did you have an out of the ordinary childhood?

Odd that this subject comes up. Last night I watched an old TV show called "The Lost Room" for the first time. It involves a key that opens any door no matter where, and when the door is opened it leads to this certain motel room. If you place things in the motel room, close the door, and then open it again, the items disappear.

But not to diminish your experience, when these appearance/disappearance/'timeslip' type events happen, they're usually just weird+++.

They usually don't mean anything and don't lead to anything.

We've had a football boot disappear in mid-air, and another time a glass bowl just dematerialised from the coffee table (just melting into 'pixels' and then blank space). In front of our eyes. No intoxicants were involved in either case!

Sounds like you might be programmed and under mind control,
which of course you would have no conscious recollection of unless you did some careful regression work.

The key was probably something you had to use to access whatever "mission" it was you were programmed to do while under the mind control.

You were triggered with the code words you can't consciously recall,
that's why all you remember is "taking a nap "

Has a close family member died recently or falling in and out of coma?

I think the key is to a safe/safety deposit box and looks new because is very rarely used, may even be stored in the bank. I believe it is a message that the box exists and to make sure it is found.

Before being a trucker I was an electronics tech for Hewlett Packard.

You just made me think of this but when I was with HP I had military clearance to work on one of the signal generators that HP sells to the US gov.

I had used the keys in the morning I noticed the new key that afternoon.

No one that I am aware of had my keys other then me.

The key had never been used.

So it could not have been used in some type of mind control mission.

But I do not have the key.

Does anyone live with you that could have been pulling a prank on you? Or if you left the keys around for your buddies or someone else to mess with that could be it too lol. If not maybe it is something weird, I've read on the Internet about random objects appearing in their home. One guy who lived alone had a spoon he never had before appear in his silverware drawer and he knew it was different from the others because the rest were a set that all looked the same.
