Thank you for this thread OP. I can tell you are very kind with a beautiful heart. I hope it generates many seeds of kindness and help in turn for those who need it most.

Alcohol, I hate what it does to me, I haven't had any for a week now and I want to go the distance this time. I'm tired. :(

I can't believe how blessed I have been in life. I cannot describe how truly fortunate the situations in my life have been handled, laid out, and destined for me.

At the end of the day, I look back and feel shame for taking this for granted on a near daily basis.

My biggest problem is overcoming feelings of self-pity.

My goal in life is to embrace my blessings and give ALL of my blessings back to the people I love, meet, and randomly encounter.

Lost in my head, I adopt feelings of fear, self-consciousness, and uncertainty--people like you all, threads such as this, and blessings and prayers sent across the Universe bring me to a new form of appreciation.

It is my only goal to achieve the state of permanent appreciation.

This kind of thread is really awesome. Thank you OP! 5 stars and the best of karma your way. I`m not sure how I can physicaly help anybody here but I can pray! I encourage all who have emotional/psychological issue to write in an open/non-judgmental/well monitored forum. Facebook has lots of supporrt groups as do most churches. Writing is amazing for the soul. If you type approximately 50 words a minute then you can write at almost the same speed your brain puts thoughts into words making it much faster and more efficient than handwriting. I a struggling with money. My wife can`t find work. I spend almost $1,000.00 a month going to work and spend 4 days a week away from my children while I`m workin out of town. I don`t make enough to put money away and we have had to take on government assistance due to my wife not having an income. I hate it but we have both paid into the programs for over 25 combined. Now...I`ve been taken off work due to an old injury from the military that has finally snuck back up on me. Our financess are even harder than they were before. We live on love and that is the greatest wealth in the world! No matter what...even if we are homeless and alone...we still have love. God will never leave our sides no matter the consequences of our own decisions or the difficuulties this world throws at us!

i see a lot of women who end up feeling this way. it's sad. the first thing i'd like you to understand about most guys
... no matter what they post online, acting all tough.. in person, face to face.. when their true feelings are on the line.. they're shy, totally lacking confidence and even when they see a chick they'd love to spend time with and get to know, they'd never grow the balls to say or do anything about it.

i grew up angry and rebelling against everything and everyone etc.. so i never cared much if i got rejected, always considered it like a step closer to my next yes. in being like that, brazenly walking up and talking to any girl etc, with my buddies around. a number of them over the years asked me pretty much 'how in the fuck do you have the balls to do that' lol.

the morale to that story, i hung around a pretty bad crowd as a kid, so i'm not talking dorks here.. nice and good guys, mean and bad guys alike.. when their TRUE feelings come at risk, they are too scared to make the move.

So.. easy solution? Go and hunt him down. Don't be a prude, say how you feel, smile at someone even if you don't think they'd be interested. And even.. go as far as to be the aggressor, go up and flirt with the damn dude and if he's not interested just smile and say your loss and move on to the next. I know some people will consider someone who's free spirited and honest in what they feel as being 'easy'

but, I think certain society based mindsets like that is a big part of the problem here. why she feels that way, why many guys and girls lack confidence, fear rejection..

if you take anything away from this long ramble, i'd ask it'd be that. rejection is not scary, it does't hurt, won't kill you. to avoid rejection you avoid the hunt for what you truly desire. i still believe it's good to live open and care free and if you bump into rejection, know that statistically speaking, you're one step closer to your next yes!

Not that is was a bad thing but I lost my job, and am trying to find something but timing is so off by a month. Have two people who really love me, and yet I want to be able to love myself so I can give back to this world in a positive selfless way. Not sure why I am responding, maybe it is just to be able to vent. Somehow knowing someone is even willing to try and help deserves a response and to you a simple thanks from a stranger.

Dont want to say i have problems more or less what i have overcome to get better. Aim high and dont give up, even though there is something to get you down you must work extremely hard despite all odds!!!!!!

Even if you want to rage out, control your emotion and aim for a goal!

1. Epilepsy - Having had it during my teen years, now had a total of nine seizures together

2. Obsessive Compulsive disorder - the good is being able to have a house clean, the work that i go to is completely organized and im able to make everything look spick and span, due to my military backround - the bad/ having to clean where boredom sets in and make a small mess into clean efficiency.

3. Dyslexia - the good, ive been able to flip numbers and words around alot which makes for learning languages like asian/ japanese, chinese, korean as well as russian a little easier, the bad when communicating to someone i mix up the numbers subconsciously without realizing that i just did that.

4. No car, no bike - walking to work so helps with not paying gas or car, however due to a recent car accident/ car was totaled from my seizure having to save up for another car and sometimes the look at by teenagers and even adults as i walk is not encouraging to say the least but i still walk to where i need to get to, with a car based system, the metro and bus system are not centralized here as its primarly 5-10 miles to get to anywhere you need to get to, dealing with weather can be an issue but i will walk in the heat of the day or even when it is raining.

5. Dealing with no relationship going on 25 years, having gone on dates however was not lucky to be with a girl for a while, ive been with about eight of them to count and i do flirt and take looks at women like women do men when i get the chance. Primarily because the job im working full time/ moving up to management and supporting myself and looking to move out on my own.

6. I run as well as do mixed martial arts exercises at home constantly for exercise and stress relief as well as health for my mind and my body - currently working on a four minute mile i am currently averaging a six minute mile by running every other day before and after work.

7. Being looked at like im 16, when in fact i am 24. But am glad i have a fountain of youth now rather than aging fast. I would like to party and enjoy my youth however due to circumstances not unto my control - seizures, wanting to join military but discharged for medical reasons and doing mixed martial arts but price got to expensive as well as college was not working with my current work schedule and financial needs, had the first year completed, however lost two cars in the process of the medical problems and the career changes.

I'm 55 and need a job. I have the skills and knowledge of many years of employment, but people look at me like I'm too old to hire. Not having a routine and cut off from people is the hardest part...though I wonder what will happen to me. I thank God for my dogs everyday, they keep me sane. I cry just thinking of having to find homes for them....I really just want work again.

I was the same. Then I realized that if people are not asking for help, they do not want it. So I stopped trying.

I might hate women.

Not really sure on that one yet. I guess I just dislike anyone who talks a lot, but does not back it up. And ladies, you do that a lot.

My greates problem at the moment is finding 100 to 150 people for comunity, were each familie is assignt a hektar ( 100 m x 100 m ) of land. 2nd problem finding the land :D.

Picked up smoking bud again for the past 3 nights after two months of not touching it...and just got a call for a job interview today scheduled 3 days from now, FML.

I don't have any problems in my personal life (thankfully) but I consider ruining Canada's food supply a big problem going on right now in my life. Just because most people are in denial about it doesn't make radioactive fallout imaginary =/

I'm sure they have the cure to Cancer...but remember...there is NO money to be made in a cure...there is only money in treatment.

There is plenty of info on the internet regarding alternative cancer treatment. Start studying...YOU are in control of your health and destiny!
