the .40 S&W round is a good round. More stopping power than a 9mm but not as likely to pass through the target and hit bystanders like a .45acp.

A lot of police dept's use the .40 S&W now... just didn't think the gov't had moved to it.

I've got about 300 rounds of .45acp... thinking now that maybe I should get a bunch more before the gov't decides they like .45acp too.

Yes a .40 hollow point doesn't have the best stopping power of available rounds such as the 45 but it is deadly once inside.

.40 cal hollow points - that's the type of round you would use in close quarters when conducting raid or such.
Maybe the NDAA roundups are bout to start.
