They're curious about eachother and making friends along the way.
I find it amazing that animals like these can find no discriminaion and prejudice between them yet us humans do.
If only our species could overlook differences between us like these naimals can.

I like dogs too, but Cats and Dolphins are my favorites. My hubby and I went to Orlando, Florida for our honeymoon - summer 2005, and we went to Sea World. I got to feed a dolphin- awesome experience!

Cats are fairly dumb, and just see everything as food.

Dolphins are intelligent jokers, just having a laugh!

wrong. I have seen amazing friendships between cats and others that would be food to them. for example. I raised white rats in High school. two cats considered them friends and two considered them food and they knew the difference. I had a dog half WOLF that should have also considered them food and they were friends and she could be trusted 100% with them alone. I often let them out to all play together in my room, making sure first that the two cats who considered them food were not present. the rats would curl up in the dogs ruff and go to sleep.

Animals, in general, can be quite amazing at times.

When I was younger (probably 10 or s0) my dad got 3 adult turkeys from a friend - they were originally wild turkeys, but this guy kept them as pets, not kidding, and they indeed acted like pets! They walked right into the house if/when we let them, would eat out of your hand.......we had a lot of animals growing up: cats, a dog, cows, pics, lots of chickens, the turkeys......it was fun as a kid =) There was one chicken that actually LIKED to be held - when I was 8 year old I'd rock it to sleep in an old rocking chair in the basement, lol......oh the memories! ;)

Just like my lil sis when we were kids, she would go in the chicken coop grab her favorite chicken, go over to the swing set, sit down on the swing with the chicken standing on her lap, and would swing for hours with this crazy ol chicken just standing on her lap with lil sis jabbering away at her friend. She was probably about 5/6 yrs. old.
It was the darndest cutest thing that our whole family would ever remember.

Seriously, some of my best childhood memories surround all those darn animals my dad had. I have always liked animals and as my mom says, "have a way with them." Should have gone to Vet. school I guess. =) But, I prefer having my pets, and enjoying that aspect - caring for animals, seeing them sick, hurt, etc - that would not be for me.

Digit, I didn't mean to heist your thread. I did a search on dolphins and didn't see any threads with "cat playing with dolphin" so I posted. Sory. but at least others still got to enjoy it.
