Re: Strive for a Sin Free Life.
Thanks, PrettyKitty. I feel a little better, how can you not, with that music? I agree too, a life is sin is fun for awhile but then someday you find yourself in a very dark place, and I think there is only one way out of that darkness and into the light again. Praise the Lord. I know it sounds corny to some, it did to me once too, but He really changes your life, and he always forgives you when you fall and take your time coming back to Him.

Thank-you for your post pretty kitty I too have to remind myself of this very thing many times each day. It is quite taxing, the flesh is so weak and easily corrupted. We must put our trust in the spirit and try our best to walk in the ways of the spirit.

Have a blessed evening ;)

What category do you put soldiers who have in last decade and longer have engaged in wars that have resulted in the deaths of innocent lives who knew nothing about 9/11 and sadly, those soldiers have also lost their lives. In building 7 showed 9/11 as an inside job and thus absolutely no reason for war.

Clearly, these soldiers are sinners arent they?

10 years from now, your children will be brainwashed to wage more wars on innocent lives as a result of 9/11. They will by then be in support of evil and deaths. I bet they will also be regarded as a sinful generation even though they are being manipulated?

Every single person is at great chance of being manipulated. It started after the very 1st sin.And as GODS creations, his word is supposed to be known to us.There is no excuse for not knowing GOD.War is war.Killing is killing.Whether you know if 911 was the devil's work or not;everyone is to know GODS words;which is right from wrong.Soldiers are people like you and me.I have a family member just shipped to Afghanistan. It was his choice to join the Marines. He know GOD's word, but he disregards it;that is why he and many others see nothing wrong in war and killing. It doesn't matter if people knew 911 was one of the many lies the devil has told us and done.If they followed Christ they would know that the devil is always the culprit when mass murder takes place and war and killing are his friends. So yes, soldiers are sinning by participating in those things. Many sinners dont see what they do as sin;which is unfortunate for them.

"Put up again your sword into its place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword." - Matthew 26:52 KJV

See what it mean again?, now why did Jesus said again?. He is talking about our souls/spirits that will die again in wars again and again until we had enough and learn our lesson.

"My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight?" - John 18:36 KJV

Even though you didn't address the question without bringing in your twist of what you want things to be but aren't in reality, I will leave it at that for now.

So, lets follow your thought process for a second. You said its the soldiers choices for going to war and that they are sinning by doing such.

Do you agree with me that if these soldiers exhibited their choices and chose wisely not to go to war and all wars stopped, do you realise that the bible prophecies of wars would not happen and that will make the bible not come true?

Do you realise that you also contribute/participate in the wars and are equally as guilty as the soldiers, only this time through the payment of your taxes?

So the bible says there will be wars and the soldiers are playing their part in fulfilling this prophecy, which will sadly lead them to hell, and truly when you look at it, it is contradictory to what you said about they having choices because they in fact have absolutely no choice but fulfilling their part in what was written before they were born.

So here is my question:

These soldiers choices have been made for them before they were born and these choices will lead them to hell and they have no choice but to play their roles - remember, anything other than playing those roles will make the bible not come true. However some people have no option to change their roles and their final destination but you somehow feel you can alter your predestined role and your final destination?

Am I making sense here?

Love does not NEED blood to love and forgive, it simply does. Nor does it use fear to get what it desires. You've been suckered into believing God is something other than it is.

And for what it's worth, I feel MORE in control of my life now than I ever used to as a Christian. I have the choice to do something or not now sexually or otherwise depending on what my desire is at that time. Before I always felt I HAD to do this or that out of fear of God and hell, but once I let go of that, I became free and the guilt and shame I once had went away. It's a freedom you just can't have if you are constantly worrying about what God thinks.

I would wish that on all of you, to experience that one day. Once you do, you'll never wanna go back to how you once were believe me. I may make my mistakes I may have my flaws, but I am in total control of my life now, and have freedom I never had or felt I had when I was religious. Knowing God loves you no matter what you do, and isn't gonna condemn you even if you make bad choices makes a huge difference.

When you do something out of fear, it's not really self control nor genuine, simply because fear is present. And in the end you are doomed to fail, because you are still focusing on what NOT to do instead of actively making a choice for yourself to do something or not based on what works for you. I know that was the case for me. I never once succeeded in staying away from what I thought I had to stay away from, because I never truly wanted to, I just felt I had to. When you realize you have complete control of yourself and your life and what you want to make out of it, your perception changes.

Religion binds, spirituality frees.

Always remember, ultimately, to never follow any person's belief. Your relationship with God is between you and God.

If nothing else, remember this: religion = subservience, control and conformity, the same template as EVERY government

I feel you ajk. I share your experiences before and after too. If I have any reason to be christian, I have as much reason to be muslim or buddhist and since neither of those other religions appeal to me simply because I wasnt indoctrinated into them, I also fight freeing myself from the bonds of christianity. I narrowed down my belief to the simple fact of the location I was born and figured out that had I been born elsewhere other than a christian family, I would be practicing the religious ideologies and since I had no say in where I was born when coming to planet earth, I chose not to adopt any religion as my own as there is really no basis for my beliefs/religion other than my place of birth.

That's more or less it. And people have to understand too, God is NOT so limited that it can't reach you in other religions also. People always want to assume that they found God because of WHERE they looked, not because they looked at all.

All you have to do to find God is look, seek and you shall find as the saying goes. Doesn't matter where, a church, a mosque, in nature, etc, if you look you WILL find God. If people could grasp this, religion's power would be severely lessened, because people would understand that it's not the only place God is. As it is I think people are waking up to that anyway, but if more did it'd be even moreso.

Your making perfect sense.I completely understand what your asking.I am definetly not saying that you can alter what GOD has predestined for you.Absolutely not.I'll put it this way. There is a story book and we are the characters. The author told us how the end of the story was going to go, but he did not specify which characters were going to do what.So we don't know our individual destiny's.As characters we live and every choice we make was supposed to be made. But since we do not know what our choices will be, it feels as if we are making our own destiny, but we are not.We are just characters living out our roles that we do not know.I hope you understand that.

not all.GOD shed his blood so that we can be forgiven for our sins. All you have to do is accept this and sinning. It's quite simple when you gain self control and you fear the consequences.

Nope you are totally wrong, I never was, you never were, NO ONE is. We are ALL perfect for our purpose, and we will ALL go back to God when it's over. Without fail.
