In a capsule this is what it means to not to be a part of this world. John the Apostel specifically was pointing out to those who were or who are in Christ consciousness. Your ego is the part of you that was born with you and this is how the world operates; "ye shall be gods". Can you now see this prinicple prominate in Christianity? Some now can yet some choose to be in darkness. Our choices will determine our own eternity. 1 Cor 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.....vv14 people who aren't spiritual can't receive these truths from God's Spirit.. vv 16 ...But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.[Christ Consciousness]. Enjoy your baseball games enjoy your movies enjoy your hobbies but in Christ Consciousness and not in your godlike consciousness['ye shall be gods']. gods want to hear their praises from any form of an assembly of any kind. They want an alter to their egos to have sweet fragant incense burn to their souls, a goodly thing if you are a god. Did you see how many precious souls came to my prayer meeting? Did you hear the thunder roar when I preached that message from Heaven? Oh! Please! you did it all for your ego you did it for your self. You didnt do it for the oppressed you didnt do it for the glory of God. Dear god! Which god are you really serving? The Lord or you? You can not serve Christ in the flesh[the sinful nature]. Those who worship God must do so in spirit and truth.

Matthew 7:22 On judgment day many will say to me, 'Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons and performed many miracles in your name.'NLT -- Sounds like Christians to me, but what do I know?

Yeah Paul was happy that Jesus was preached but he didnt say anything about the eternal status of people who blend the Word of God with their own words or the words of others, or did he?

If it is many then only a few will be saved and that is only from within the Christian community. I mean the few that are saved in Christianity, the rest; the many in Christianity will not be with the Lord.

Even though this comes across as "preachy" I think that it has merit. It is no easy task to die to the flesh and is a continual process.

As for me, I am being sanctified, and have been justified, and am a work in progress. The lord is moving me along the continuum in the right direction.

“But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Thessalonians 2:13,14

"But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life." Titus 3:4-7

It is an eschatological term that literally translates as "return of the Lord", or "the coming of the Lord". It is also associated with a point in time to look forward to when the Lord returns. This is much like Anno Domini (A.D.), which translates as "the year of our Lord".

While the Anno Domini is an event beyond scale, I also look toward the Adventus Domini -- the completion -- the omega -- an event of equal or greater magnitude.

Many people hear the call of God which comes by the revelation of Jesus Christ through the creation and the conscience within us. But only the "few" will respond. Jesus said many times, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear” (Matthew 11:15). These are the followers of Jesus Christ.

All of God’s called, who are also the followers of Jesus Christ, will be saved . They will have spiritual ears to hear the truth. God’s power makes this certain.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew (loved) he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.” Romans 8:28-30

How do we know if we have ears to hear? By responding to the call – the call that is from the Holy Spirit.

“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6

“Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose” Philippians 2:12-13.

My Christian faith...no! that doesnt sound right. My faith in Christ is not about creating a platform for myself or for others to demonstrate our talents or skills or even gifts. My faith is not about pointing souls to my ego or the ego of others. My faith is not my light or the light of others. My faith is not about bragging about great men, great men? where are they? They are where the lowly and the humble are. And when the foolish have the audacity to lift them up they will cringe at such contempt. Great men and women for that matter have met the greatest man ever and that is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. And it is Him The Standard that they measure greatness with.

James 4:1 What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you? ----- What governs our passions? Isnt for the most part our fallen ego? We are according to Heaven ALL equal to God or before God. When can we get over ourselves? When will we give up the little god complex that caused all this mess. And thats just among Christianity that I am focusing on, never mind the others. When will we get over this sham of I am great in God and really I am greater than the greats psychological damage that we suffer? We are are all equal before God. In Heaven they do not suffer this malady. Seriously when was the last time you over heard Gabriel arguing with Michael as to who was the greatest among them? In Heaven they carry honors and some of the titles they bare are more of chores and responsibilties then they are bragging rights. Hey the Lord is among us reaching out to each us on a personal level. He didnt make you lower than any other soul. You are just as important to Him as any other soul He created, you really are. We were conditioned to think otherwise but we truly are loved of God equally, we really are. Dont gage God by our standards. Our standards are to low for God to Use. We serve a very big God beyond our ability to understand.

Steps of grace thats what I am going to call them. Maturity is a level that can be added to a higher level, level by level. Think of body building and and adding muscle upon muscle until you become a champion. So to in the spiritual realm of maturity, you can add level upon level. It has nothing to do with greatness as we understand greatness. It is simply becoming a better person to your self to God and to your fellow man. There are perks to maturity and that is greater spiritual awareness, even into the supernatural. You can remain in the lower levels of maturity but that is not advisable. Oh you will still get your visions and dreams but you will not attain any of them. That is if you continue at remaining immature.
