Permalink The media, Republican insiders, and money interests are now all rolling forward with Romney despite the fact that there is very little passion out there for him. Paul and Santorum could derail that if they joined forces rhetorically on a few strategic issues - Romney/Obamacare and the Tarp/Fed bailouts. That could have the effect of stoking the flames of the Tea Party Movement as those were the key rallying cry issues. Romney was on the wrong side of both issues. Santorum, to his credit was on the right side. An alliance over delegates and a strategic alliance regarding these two issues could still stop the Romney train. Problem is....as soon as Bernanke and Draghi stop the printing and buying back the debt (and Europe's) ...the banking system will deflate again. Unless the economy kicks into gear that is, and it's clear that won't happen with Obama at the helm. There are stormy waters to navigate dead ahead.
