Really wierd Monday Night Football story. A little outside help?
The Cowboys pulled out a miracle win against the Eagles last night but that´s no the half of it.
You can insert your own Twilight Zone theme later.

As Roy Williams ran down the sideline, many thoughts were going through everybody´s minds.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was wondering why Williams was so close to the sideline. Bradie James was looking for somebody to block and found Donovan McNabb.

But Bill Parcells was thinking about his younger brother, Don.

Early that morning, Parcells had driven two hours to New Jersey, for his younger brother´s funeral. Don Parcells was 62. He died last Wednesday after a long fight with brain cancer. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a Purple Heart recipient. He attended West Point and played running back and defensive back for the Army Cadets.

Roy Williams, the Cowboys´ No. 31, made the biggest play of the game.

Williams intercepted a McNabb pass and ran 46 yards for the touchdown with 2:43 remaining, finishing an improbable comeback for the Cowboys, a 21-20 win against the Eagles.

So, the wierd part?
Flashback to Municiple Stadium, 1962, on a field occupying the very same piece of land as Lincoln Financial Field does today. It´s the Army - Navy game where a young Don Parcells intercepts a pass and returns it for a touchdown. The same Don Parcells laid to rest earlier that morning.

Don´s number that day? 31. The man that threw that pass? A young Roger Staubach.
