Do you think there's too many deer?

No. I like deer. There are too many people. When I vacation in S.Carolina during the summer for the past 2 summers every morning this deer comes to the house across from us grazing for food with her two little children. I hope I see them again this summer.

The odds are the deer have more of a purpose on this planet then we do.If people cant drive slow enough to avoid hitting them there numb to lifes values.Don't get me wrong I am a hunter and get elk n deer every year almost,but there is respect prayer and mourning in the natural process.I have far more respect for animals than I ever will for 95% of humans.Mankind could learn the important things in life from the animals.But thats just my opinion,lol.

I guess I could have phrased the question better. I just hate seeing them die like that. It's really sad to see them. People who live here say that they are overpopulated. So??? They all seem to say the same thing.

I can see them sometimes from my window in a field. All times of day. They are sweet.

Giving a voice to a generation of people , mostly men but not all, on several subjects. Saying what everyone knows is true , but for whatever reason cant vocalize it at their jobs/in a group/ or that stupid fucking barbecue.

We have the same problem with Kangaroos. My mother lives in the country and she's always telling me to drive carefully and watch out for them crossing the highways when I visit her.

That'd be fucking awesome if I saw a kangaroo jumping across the street.

You apparently don't realize if wildlife over-populate (as humans) disease will run rapidly through. This is why they have 3-4 deer seasons per year in many places.

I wonder if most people could survive in the woods by killing deer?

Cool to see, but you definitely don't want to hit them as they will destroy the front end of your car.

I appreciate all points of view no matter the subject. That's pretty much the point.

That being said, there really are way too many deer. I'm sorry people, it's true. They get dead all the time from cars and trucks. I'm very rural here and it's just true.
