Thank you, you just proved you know nothing about astronomy, you can't even identify three simple planets in an image with a known date, direction, and time. You are therefore not a reliable source of information.

Furthermore, there's a big difference between a conjuction that occurs far separated from the sun that many people get to see, and a conjunction that occurs near the sun and is only seen for a few minutes before sunrise by those who have a clear line of sight to the horizon. Last, but not least, I already proved it was Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury above. You, on the other hand, are apparently incapable of identifying planets without the media telling you what they are.

That sounds like a threat. I'm not a "disinformation specialist," and I am prepared to defend myself.

well since discussion of Venus et all has come on this page, dear Astromut, Venus is NOT Venus. "Venus" is a plasma light ship, as is OBVIOUS in the western sky right now. This is a pic taken a couple days go found on spaceweather. That is NOT a planet dear one!

Venus IS Venus. Stop PM'ing me with your bullshit.

It IS a planet. That's a widefield image of the entire pleiades. Venus looks like that because it's dramatically over-exposed. That's what happens when you over-expose Venus. In fact, I'm impressed that Chumack was able to keep internal reflections to a minimum. That's what happens any time you over-expose a bright star or planet in an image. In a narrow field image that doesn't over-expose Venus, you can clearly see it is a planet.

Sirius is also easily over-exposed, which you asked me about in your PM.

That does not mean it's a "plasma light ship," that means you over-exposed it. When exposing it properly you can see it's just a star.

It's open source software. If it "do not counts" (lol), show where the conspiracy is in the source code.

There is no way that is Venus. Or, if it is, it's way brighter and closer than I've ever seen it. I'm not an expert, but I've been staring at that light in the western sky for quite some time. It's unreal how bright it is. There is almost a halo/aura around it of light. And if you squint a little, there is a red spot that seems to travel around it.

Just my .02. You can tell me it's normal, Astromut, and I respect your knowledge... all the same, it does not look normal to me.

It's always that bright, and there's always someone claiming it's "too bright" to be Venus. I've been intently observing Venus for 16 years now, ever since I began doing amateur astronomy. It's just as bright as it always is at that phase and distance.
