Yes that would the best case scenario,but as i just saw kids running all over the place in PANIC,if they were armed they would have been shot on the spot. Adding more guns just makes it harder to find the bad guy.

If you hear a gunshot, you certainly would not draw your weapon unless you were sure there was an imminent threat. What if it were a police officer having to put down a rabid dog? Doh! Stoopid.

No, you would size up the situation. Wait for the right moment, draw your weapon and fire if and only if you decided the situation warranted it.

Its easy to find the bad guy.

Besides, the only people carrying the guns would be the ones who had them read to draw. The cop wouldn't even see most of them. You don't just automatically draw a weapon when you hear a gunshot and you don't run in panic. The people NOT PANICKING will be the ones carrying. They don't panic because they have confidence and skill.

Why is it that people that know nothing of guns are always making these assumptions based on their TV watching experience?
