LOL. If there was a dark star in our orbit we would not be alive. ESPECIALLY if it was in the inner solar system. Calculate the mass then post again.

The bible talks of a great wonder appearing in the heavens of a woman clothed in the sun with the moon at her feet. This happened 29th sept 2011. It then says;

Some theories state that this will happen this year and that the great red dragon is in fact a second smaller dwarf sun which will cause the earth to move around like a drunkard and do a pole shift, and the sun to set just after rising, etc. Meteor hits the planet. It also is when satan is cast out of heaven, down to earth. . . . bla, bla, end of world as we know it. Of course it might not happen exactly like this, but one must be prepared, right?

Funny, according to this, it should have been next to Venus on about the 11th through 13th of February. I was outside observing then, I sure as hell didn't see anything next to Venus. Neither did these people who also observed Venus in that time frame...

Personally, and this is just my opinion, I think there is some problem somewhere in the Magellan calculation of the rotation of Venus, probably to do with their ephemeris correction technique.

The alternative is that Venus sped up prior to Magellan arriving at the planet which is why pre-Magellan measurements as well as Venera-Magellan combined measurements showed a rotation rate slower than the Magellan-alone value and identical to the current value measured by Venus Express.

In that case, it's not simply a matter of Venus slowing down, nor does it mean that something strange is happening now that didn't happen before. Rather, it means that Venus' rotation is not stable over long periods of time and it was exactly this slow prior to Magellan, a fact being overlooked by the news media.
