I find libertarians in general are the most compassionate group. They seem to care most about the environment, people getting bombed, equal rights etc. Changing drug laws would get a shit load of black people out of prison yet we're still racist?

What the fuck is this guy talking about? Libertarians want to take away the free ride in this country .They are tired of the free loaders! Libertarians don't hate gays and blacks! The establishment is worried about libertarians, first bernanke goes on a uni lecture tour denouncing the gold standard then this douche just makes up complete bullshit. It's good that libertarians is getting so much exposure.

COmpassionate? No, nothing in their ideology speaks of having compassion as part of it.

Care about the Environment? No, no organization that would demand that all National and State owned land be open to the highest bidder truly cares about the Environment.

Getting people bombed? - Well, they are usually for non-interventionist foreign policy, but there is nothing else in their marketing that speaks about their policy of pacifism or peace. It is not important, the only important part is isolationism. Which is a keystone part of their overall foreign and domestic policy.

Equal Rights - Well, this should be a given, Libertarianism is an attempt at the purest forms of personal Liberty. But with that, comes freedoms to pursue a lot of things that are otherwise considered criminal.

I would say you are being a bit of an idealist, and somewhat romantic about the actual reality of Libertarianism, especially the brand that is becoming popular in the U.S.

just keep on perpetuating hatred... it will come back to haunt you sooner or later...

clearly, very few people have a clue as to what real libertarianism is.

Because most of the low income and assisted living people that would be most gravely effected would come from minority communities.

The Libertarian plans never account for this problem, they have very poorly thought out solutions.

Anyone can sit around and moan about having to pay towards social welfare, but the fact remains your economy would instantly collapse if you tried to enact the type of radical changes that Libertarians think are somehow possible.

If a Libertarian can explain how the government assisted households are expected to remain in their homes, and with food on their plates without having easy access to jobs then the whole argument about welfare falls through.

No one ever seems to consider just how much of your countries industry are welfare recipients. Especially farming and Banking.

Again, it is romantic to think of a world without taxes, but without having that kind of system in place for many generations, it becomes nearly impossible to implement without first having a complete collapse.
