Appearing on CBS's Face the Nation Sunday, the lagging contender was critical of his party's beliefs after saying he's 'trying to save the Republican Party from themselves.' 'The truth is, I'm trying to save the Republican Party from themselves because they want perpetual wars, they don't care about presidents who assassinate American citizens, they don't care about searching our houses without search warrants, and these are the kind of things people care about,' Mr Paul told CBS' Bob Schieffer. 'It seems clear to me that there's no way that you're going to get the nomination now,' Mr Schieffer responded. 'Do you intend to continue hanging around?' 'Obviously yes,' Mr Paul responded adding 'the votes haven't been counted.' Consistency? Hardly. Just using the GOP when it furthers his political ambitions? Likely. |

He's playing smart politics to try to get a modicum of exposure that he would be sure to not get had he gone independent. You're a fucking tool if you can't see that. |

And besides, I dont care what party he says he's in, I hope he goes with the party that gives him the best chance of winning. Because its not his party that Im voting for or his party thats consistent, its his respect for human liberty and individual rights that is consistent, and thats what Im voting for. You are just another petty idiot who will vote for whomever the MSM says to vote for, and think you have a choice. |
