I have a question for you... When was the last time we had 7 billion humans on this planet and 20,000 nuclear warheads? Waiting.... Waiting.... Waiting.....

Collapse will be different this time around. We possess the technology to destroy entire nations remotely. The entire world has been globalized and become interdependent. Collapse in one sector leads to collapse in the others. The same could not be said for those previous 'empires' in relation to the inhabitants in other locations around the world.

21st century wars will be wars for natural resources, except this time it won't be over oil and gold or diamonds, it will be over clean drinking water and agriculture. Things will spiral out of control much faster than anyone can conceive.

Finally my ‘’fellow’’ Europeans down south can get to know how to live in a real economy, instead of just some lira/drakhma/peseta based economy where everything is forgiven. Now we’re playing by the german rule book and to be honest I really like it. Learn taxation! Maybe guys in south should start working, creating something instead of having just fun. Just spent one month in Spain and everything seems to be ok, nobody works or worries, it’s all playtime! And please don’t tell me it’s only foreigners, spaniards were out everyday and toda la noche…. To be honest I envy their climate and joy to life, we just worry too much in the north :( Maybe we got the money but it sucks without the joy, all is so dark and gloomy…. But unfortunately you are still responsible to creditors, if you play on credit, there will be day when you pay...

But not that here is much better, people just loosing hope, and mostly joung wasting their time. You can see people outside, walking, sitting in the caffe bars, all day long, driving,... but mostly all crying that gasoline is expensive, food, drinks,... BS

It all looks like people just enjoy the moments in their lives, while all realize that tomorrow could come worse and all will be helpless. We have no more army, no industry, all biggest firms are broken, all national banks are "sold" overtaken by foreign banks, national telecommunication company has been taken by German T-com years ago, big national oil company "sold" to Hungarians,... all oil fields that Croatia had in Lybia, Syria or Egypt lost due to wars caused by the "west", Iraq was lost decade ago. People lost their good jobs over there because France, Germany, UK, USA wanted all oil for themselves.

What else.... just name it!!!

wait a month where here in America the gas prices bieng so high will cause the economy to totally crash this summer because very few will be taking any trips and spending money so many many businesses will fail !

I spend quite a bit of time in the States, and believe you me, Europe isnt half as bad as it is in the US..

Their is a hell of a lot of "black money" floating around in Europe, they aint stupid!

There isnt anything like a Detroit here, i was over in Tampa and the west coast of Florida last year and it seems like a ghost town, stores boarded up, no one in the malls, a bum on every traffic intersection, tons of foreclosed homes just rotting, a complete disaster really..

Not to mention that its now a fascist police state hell hole! very very sad!
