Help To END Animal Cruelty----ONE Piggy at a TIME! Please =[
This just makes me want to cry. For the record, I dont eat pork. But I know millions of Americans do, and there is no reason to subject animals to this cruelty.

Tyson Foods, one of the nation’s leading pork companies, allows pigs in its supply chain to be locked inside tiny “gestation crates” for nearly their whole lives.

These cages are barely larger than the pigs' own bodies, preventing the animals even from turning around.

The animals are caged like this during their four-month-long pregnancy, taken from the gestation crate and put into another crate to give birth, re-impregnated, and put back into a gestation crate so the cycle can repeat again and again.

It’s hard to imagine a worse existence. Several other leading pork companies are actively moving toward more humane systems, but Tyson is lagging far behind. We need your help to move the company to do the right thing.

I dont know if this will help..but I urge those of you who love animals to go to this link and sign the petition..

Please stop using gestation crates!

To Tyson Foods,

I'm greatly concerned by Tyson's refusal to follow other pork companies' lead and develop a plan for getting gestation crates out of your operations. Like most people, I care about animals and want farm animals to be treated well. I hope you'll commit to ending your use of cruel gestation crates.

I know there is far worse crimes being done against animals and humanity, as well..but if we keep being complacent, it will never change! We can be the change we want to see, even if it is only baby steps.
