Not sure...My sisters bf goes to Chico State, and he said all his friends and everyone he knows pretty much is a Paul Supporter....so he said he would expect quite a few to be there...

Chico State has about 20,000 students

All the kids that meet him treat him like a rockstar. it's an exciting environment to be in, for sure.

Hope he runs 3rd party....All the polls show Obama ahead of Romney by quite a bit....the people don't want Obammy or Romney..

Ron needs to join with Gary Johnson (Libertarian party) and stop trying to save an unsaveable party.

A lot of people don't want Romney (I don't) and a lot more people know that freedom itself won't survive another 4 years of Obama's Marxist onslaught. That said, a third party is a guaranteed way to ensure less than 50% public support for the winner unless by some miracle the other two get less than 50% combined. That’s just simple math.

In 1992, Bill Clinton won with only 43% of the popular vote because Ross Perot bled off 18.9% of the conservative vote. Bush Sr. got 37.5%. Unless a third party candidate (no matter how good they might be) is able to seriously upset the history of 3 way races in America, it would spell disaster in November this year.

This is why I feel it is all so hopeless at this point. I almost voted for Chuck Baldwin (Constitution Party) in 2008 because I was so furious that the RNC nominated John McCain. Looking back, for my own conscience, I wish I had. But that’s the problem with third party candidates. No matter how good they are they will be spoilers unless they can completely re-write Americas voting history and overcome both main parties in one election. That hasn’t happened on a presidential level since the Republican Party was founded in 1854… just a few years before the civil war.

So the Trillion dollar question is, can Ron Paul pull that off? … and if he does, will it result in a split the likes of which we haven’t seen since the decidedly uncivil war of Northern aggression?

I followed Ron from the Libertarian Party to the GOP,
I'll certainly follow him back. ;-`)

Yea, for a while I was thinking I hope he didn't run 3rd party. For that exact reason. But now...I hope he does. The Republican Party has fallen in love with progressivism and bi government....they do not represent my beliefs and values. I can't bring myself to vote for someone just because the alternative is "worse".....
