It was announced yesterday that they lost a lawsuit with AMC & must begin carrying the channels again. Not sure when it is effective.

Just do a quick google. There may be a date it the press release.

This year sure is different than last year. In a sense, they are more like us dealing with "reality" than trying to live in a fantasy world with moral crap over guns, killing, etc like liberals often whined about.

Anyhow, WOW.... after last year's few zombie kills (except for the finale), this year is starting off with a BLAST..... zombies falling at a fast rate..... YEAH, put'em all down.... just keep a few outside just to GUARD the prison from outsiders ;)

I figured it was either Michonne and Andrea or one of the Gov's scouting parties... However, Merle seems like a likely choice, looking back at the preview that showed him, the background is right for him to be standing over Carol in that shot.

Damn, just when Carol was getting some depth.

Being a hardcore zombie survival nut, I found myself screaming at the tv more than not the first two seasons, and attempting to explain to people that in a real deal situation, the choices made by these people would have had them all dead long ago, but the choices have to be stupid for drama purposes.

Then I realized after the first two episodes this season, when I was starting to feel like giving up on it, what with Rick and crew not taking out the prisoners leader and forcing the rest to fall in line right off and all.

Then I realized, all those sheep watching this show will think they're so prepared to surive a zombie apoc, only to make their choices based on what Rick did, instead of common survivial instincts... They won't be around long, which means more resources for us! So now I've done a 180, I actually want them to be stupid on the show. ;p

Besides, we all know the real threat in such a world wouldn't be from the dead, they have predictable routines and after a month or so, will be no sweat (minus roaming hordes) No, the real threat comes from other survivors.

Especially those wanting to set themselves up as malevolent dictators. Only one way to handle a psychopath in such a scenario.

Now I'm banking on it not being Merle watching Carol, as the preview for next weeks episode during Talking Dead showed Andrea coming to only to look up and see him standing over her...

Makes one wonder if he'd even remember her, as we never actually saw them together.

Actually they were together in the first season when they were on the roof of the building.

Just watched the first episode the other night. The guys comes out of a coma...everyone's dead...there are now zombies...he meets another living person and never ONCE asks "What the fuck happened"? Not once.

Then he decides it's a good idea to go to a major metropolitan area.

Yeah...didn't make it through the end of the first one.

Horrible show.

Some would say "devolve," but hey, it's a fight for survival.

Our cave dwelling, less evolved ancestors were certainly better at survival than the pampered wimps we (as a whole) have become.

Interesting to consider -- a what point does devolution become evolution? Clearly when thrust into a condition of savagery. How can we, as a society, avoid having to devolve to evolve?

Wow, too early to think of such things.
