If it does not go away it could be cause by dozens of things for example: He has become allergic to something in his diet. Someone maybe putting something in his drink, poisoning him. He could be over stressed. |

I've dealt with this most of my life, the only permanent solution for myself has been a very clean diet of only unprocessed and organic foods. The one thing that can settle my stomach after eating almost anything is marijuana...it's my miracle drug for stomach issues...2 hits in the morning will settle my stomach all day, it keeps working long after the high wears off, I highly recommend if he is looking for some relief. |

IBS results in bloating in association with recurrent diarrhea (or constipation) and abdominal pain. More detail here: [link to en.wikipedia.org] Also, does your husband take any dietary fiber supplements such as metamucil? Too much fiber could cause the symptoms you described. |

I stopped sending the vitamins and flax oil in his lunch as soon as I learned he was having troubles. I'll schedule a physical for him if it doesn't ease by Monday. I'm concerned because his mother has celiac's disease and I know it runs in families. |

You should be able to figure out what is causing it. I know whenever I eat food with yeast in it I get real bad IBS. He's probably just alergic to something, but you might want to consult with a doctor. |

He is willing to try some aloe juice and I promise I'll get him to see his doctor if it doesn't resolve in a few days. I'm sure that if it's a food allergy, we can figure out the culprit through the process of elimination. |

You can spend a fortune on Probiotics trying to reestablish a balanced gut. A seven dollar bottle of Acidophilus cured my symptoms. Chewing the capsules rather than swallowing them whole works best if the issue is in the upper GI tract. |

Maybe you should consider a doctor, when you done fart assing around on the internet. When I told my doctor I had been having problems with diarrhea all my life, all he did was schedule a test to have a specialist stick a camera up my ass...they took a look and said I was fine, and sent me home with no solution. He didn't even suggest a healthier diet of organic and unprocessed foods. I had to figure it out on my own, with help from the internet. Doctors are slaves to big pharma. If idiots like you would wake up I could be growing my own medicine in my backyard, instead of being offered synthetic prescription garbage. Instead a large portion of my income goes to pay for health insurance I don't use, and to pay for a gang of badge wearing thugs who will break down my door if I grow my own medicine. Try using your brain to figure stuff out instead of always looking for someone else to give you an easy solution. Doctors and pharmaceutical companies make huge profits by TREATING diseases, not curing them |

Genetically Engineered Crops May Produce Herbicide Inside Our Intestines By Jeffrey M. Smith Spilling the Beans/Institute for Responsible Technology, April/May 2006 Straight to the Source Pioneer Hi-Bred's website boasts that their genetically modified (GM) Liberty Link corn survives doses of Liberty herbicide, which would normally kill corn. The reason, they say, is that the herbicide becomes "inactive in the corn plant." They fail to reveal, however, that after you eat the GM corn, some inactive herbicide may become reactivated inside your gut and cause a toxic reaction. In addition, a gene that was inserted into the corn might transfer into the DNA of your gut bacteria, producing long-term effects. These are just a couple of the many potential side-effects of GM crops that critics say put the public at risk. Anonymous Coward User ID: 13332532 Canada 04/06/2012 07:38 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Possibly candida in the intestines. Intake acidophilus pills (coated to bypass the stomach if possible) and some anti-yeast/anti-candida product from a health food store/pharmacy. Lower sugar/junk food intake for a couple weeks. This will allow the good bacteria to regrow and keep the candida down again. Repeat if it happens again in the future and keep sugar down in the diet. |
