McKenna arbitrarily set the start date for the last "wave" as the Hiroshima bombing, because he felt it was an "extreme novelty" date.. this was only based on his own intuition. Based on this date, the final timewave cycle would end in MID-NOVEMBER of 2012 (Nov 16th, iirc). When he later learned about the Mayan calendar date of 12/21/2012, he CHANGED the end date of the timewave to match it, again a totally arbitrary adjustment on his part. Conclusion: Even if you accept McKenna's theories of "novelty", the numbers/dates of the timeline are totally fudged/guesswork on McKenna's part.  |
