Markets have been falling for 2 weeks and are technically way oversold, but the funds are ignoring the technicals. That's a bad sign.

Not saying this is 2008, but that is how markets behaved in Sept 08 following the LEH collapse. We'll have to see how the other indicators react, because so far commercial paper and Libor are tame

At the moment this is just a strong correction.

However, if overexposure to Euro debt triggers deep losses and margin calls at a few major banks or funds, we could be facing a credit event

There could be more than a few dead men walking. The next few weeks will tell if this is a short term bottom and a buying opportunity or the beginning of the next world crisis
