I'm glad that once 12/21/2012 comes and goes we won't have to hear about the timewave zero theory anymore, it is such bollocks. Have any of you actually READ mckenna's books, and the description of how he came up with the shape of the timewave?

He basically took the hexagrams in the i-ching, noticed how they made a pattern when laid out side-by-side. He then took this pattern and made a graph out of it. He then overlaid a MIRROR IMAGE of the same pattern on the graph, because he noticed that they (sort of) match at the beginning and end. He then repeated this pattern six times. He then used a computer program to average all the peaks and valleys of the over-laid patterns. This resulting averaged graph he called the timewave. Fair enough, EXCEPT he had no way of knowing when to start or end the wave. So, he arbitrarily picked the date of the Hiroshima bombing as the start of the latest and final wave harmonic, since he felt it was the event of "highest novelty" in the 20th century. Based on this date, the wave would end in mid-November of 2012. When he learned about the Mayan prophecies, he arbitrarily moved the end date to match it!
