I actually dated a guy that that happened to. He went vegetarian and started eating tons of soy fake meat products and his chest started swelling up like a woman's breasts. No lie. He never eats it anymore and tells everyone about it. GMO Soy is terrible stuff.

Actually, before it got imported to the Americas, soy was used in the Asia-Pacific region (China, Japan, Korea) mainly for tilling back into the soil in order to replenish its (the soil's) nutrient content in between main crop harvests. Only a small amount of soy was historically used for consumption and, even that, only in fermented form (e.g. kimchi).

If soy is to be considered such a wonder-food, as the western mainstream food agencies would like us to believe, one would think that the inhabitants of the Asia-Pacific region would have figured that out a very long time ago on their own. In fact, they figured out long ago that exactly the opposite is true. Soy is good food for soil, not for mammals.
