Great post Anders, GL, everyone else! Know that your display of love in truth shines forth and honestly outlines and seperates those who stand in love for their countrymen and those who stand in fear of losing their power.
My heart goes out to Tucker Carlson. For some reason, I get the feeling he had been promised great fame and fortune if he was to "follow the rules" like every other high-profile media journalist has done in the last few decades. He doesn´t look like the kind of person who is unintelligent but from what he says and claims he forces me to question that perception.
A CHILD CAN UNDERSTAND, MR. CARLSON, WHY CAN´T YOU?
And even though so many complain about your bowtie, I feel that it is a nice touch. You seriously need to reconsider your agenda and the propaganda you have been spewing before you reconsider your personal attire. You cannot play the ignorance card for long, Tucker. Do you choose to "follow the rules" and go down with the ship, or do you (in your heart of hearts!) perhaps want to abandon the U.S.S. Treachery in a lifeboat of TRUTHFUL JOURNALISM?

I remember watching the discovery channel on a family that demolished old buildings.
They showed how it was an art form to get a building to fall straight down on itself.
Weeks went into preparing a building for demolision. Explosives were placed in key stress points and timed precisley to go off at just the right time.
Knowing this it makes it hard to believe that the Towers came down from burning jet fuel, but then again I believe in Oswalds Magic Bullet.... |

Tucker, let me help you out here: Professor Jones is suggesting that buildings 1, 2, and 7 were demolished with expl*sives. You may not be aware of this Tucker, but the Chinese invented gun power hundreds of years ago and man has advanced since that time in his ability to create things that expl*de. A highlight in that regard for America was Hiroshima and Nagasaki back in WWII. Anyway, we now have firms that specialize in building demolition using expl*sives. It´s quite common. I was there when the Kingdome in Seattle was imploded. Quite a site!
What a quandary...Tucker, how would I describe a controlled building demolition using expl*sives? How can I describe the experience, the visual impact of witnessing a building being demolished with expl*sives? Hey! I know. Just watch WTC buildings 1 and 2 go down. That´s a perfect example of what those buildings would have looked like had they been brought down by a pre-planned expl*sive demolition. On second thought, watch WTC building 7 instead. This will give you the same visual effect plus you get the added bonus of having the building 7 tape handy just in case you ever have Professor Jones on your show again! Real bummer that you couldn´t roll the building 7 tape!

Actually, I´ve been around here since about 2001 too....first started lurking and posting as DirectionFinder when I still lived aboard my boat near Baltimore Inner Harbor. Fire started at the breaker box which was topside at my helm station...I surmise that the extreme cold may have kept a breaker from doing its job....oh well. So now, I´m in West, by God, Virginia....but I´m still Capt. Mike. So, I´ve been enjoying your posts since before Aussie Bloke and the "Snowball" intercept...heheh.....go green, go green. You do a great job...except for those couple times when you were drunk..heheheh. I should just go ahead and register....keep putting it off. |

Capt Mike - LOL, u have an interesting life - I may be buying a boat of my own next year, a liveaboard 58 or 60 footer- seems the way to go for me at the moment, can cruise all the inland waterways here in Blighty. I will be v v sure to check out the boat electrics, a fire onboard would be disastrous.

Anders....you´ll love the liveaboard lifestyle. I remember reading you talking about it a couple years ago, in fact. I think I posted to you about it back then when I was DirectionFinder. The marina I was docked was adjacent to Baltimore´s Inner Harbor at a place called Fells Point....real eclectic....a whole lotta pubs. And I know you can appreciate that. :)
I was on my boat, a 45´ flush deck mahogany yacht, when the remnants of Hurricane Isabel blew up the coast and man, even tied up in my slip, it was pretty harrowing. Blew all night and by morning, the water was about 6´ over the dock....I was up all night loosening the lines. Hey, it keeps you connected to the elements and you´ll love the excitement....even a thunderstorm is cool on a boat. Go for it!!! And remember, diesel, not gas. |

yes i vaguely remember - yes i am doing it for the lifestyle and freedom, can move around at will and the interior will be like a floating apartment, with a study and full wi-fi etc etc; ideally I´d love a yacht something like yours, but I don´t have the seagoing experience - for now it will be cool to set up home on the Thames, can go north to Oxford and beyond, and west to Bath and Bristol... really looking forward to it :O))) |
