Four Beautiful Dragon Flies and Camoflaged Lizard in Nature. | |
Jascar User ID: 12269085 United States 04/07/2012 11:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | One of them landed on the tip of my nose while i was involved in some outside work a couple summers ago...only a day after i rescued one of them from a spider web inside a house. one thing neat thing about dragonflies is that they will climb onto your finger and stay there for while...making it easy to relocate from inside a house to the outside. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 11880342 United States 04/08/2012 04:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I hear ya, same here. We're all works in progress, and as long as one can complete an honest moral inventory of one's self the future becomes an oyster once again. Out of the grits of sand that irritate the soul begets a pearl. Hope to see all your beautiful animals that you will surely capture with your original unique eye sharing them with the world to see in all natural brilliance, shinning bright one. I'll have to check back periodically to see what you have found in nature's menagerie then. I'm sure your finds will soon become an artistic film collection of unique assortments that will gain many fans who can appreciate the fruits of your most talent eye. :-) Quoting: Amy_A Oh and let me slide a piece of back to ya too. Thanks for the complement. I woke up last year after 39 years. I was into material BS along with TV, prescription drugs, and junk food. Since I cleaned up all that, something told me to pick up a camera and start living life instead of being a zombie. I have a few more videos that I might just have to upload. Birds, Deer, and other natural beauties. Peace to all |

Amy_A (OP) User ID: 1447484 United States 04/10/2012 02:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just checking to see if Amy_Amazing has posted any new vids. Quoting: BobE And_A well deserved Others I think should have a chance to notice this thread, and have the opportunity to enjoy Amy's amazing nature captures. Here is one from a few months ago. I found it while looking through older videos. A Beautiful Fuzzy Lime Green Worm appears at 1:22. I have other videos on my you tube page that shows some nature scenes as well as stars, blinking colorful lights and the Moon. Peace to all Amy |
BobE User ID: 11880342 United States 04/10/2012 06:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Right, da me, I just had to click onto the YouTube button on your posted video and see your collection which I have now done. I love that vid too of the fuzzy-wuzzy furry caterpillar. :-) I have great interest in cosmology. I have a cheap telescope, but it's packed away in my walk in closet which has become a mini storage room unfortunately, it's in the far most corner with all sorts of junk in front of it. I live within a town with a lot of light pollution so I lost interest in using it, and now has become simply closet clutter. :-( Seems from looking at your vids you have a digital camera on your telescope. That's quite a set up. I had a really neat friend who I fell out of contact with that had such a setup too. He is a professional photographer and his lady is an professional astronomer from what i understand. He sometimes posted really detailed pics of all sorts of celestial bodies. I mean like asteroids as I remember. In your YT vid album I must say that was a nice find in the sky of what looks like to me as a meteor burning up in the atmosphere at an oblique angle. Those look like they move slower as the move across the sky when they really don't. having it move toward you in your general direction adds to the "hang time" as they say. I see it was moving across to your right, but still enough toward you to create the effect. capturing it on vid... in daylight is absolutely spectacular! It's if you knew it was coming in beforehand, and were all set and ready to record it. :-0 Lazy dayz every dayz. |

I was waiting on it because about 2 min earlier I saw one in that same direction come from behind a cloud. It was gone before I could grab my camera. I waited in that spot because I felt if I saw one then maybe another would appear. I have seen "Orbs" around my place and I even saw a very small one this past weekend but my camera didn't show anything. The camera has a 1500X zoom on it. I don't have a telescope although I may get one, so I can see things much better. It is just a HD digital camera. I posted about ten new videos of various Dragon Fly, Spiders, and other nature scenes. I hope you and everyone enjoy. Amy |
