Why are there no other creatures on Earth even remotely close to the intelligence of human beings?

People who think humans are the "most intelligent" creatures on Earth are the problem with the Earth today.
No life is "more intelligent" than another. You are no smarter than the bacteria that has lived since the dawn of time. Look at what other life has accomplished and tell me that humans are the most intelligent. I understand from a social and cultural point of view how most humans have taken the bait that we are more intelligent -- it frees us from guilt for what we do to the rest of life on this planet; but please, at the very least research in depth what you are talking about before promoting propaganda.
Humans = not so intelligent. however, we are unique in our externalization of imagination. that is not a measure of intelligence, it is just a uniqueness of expression. We are different - not more intelligent.
FWIW, If anything viruses are the most intelligent life forms (though by biological definition they are not really "alive")

We are the dominate species on this planet, for better or worse, because of our intelligence. That is a fact. We dominate all other creatures for better or worse. This isn't something to be proud of, its just the way it is. Human beings have capabilities that no other creature has ever demonstrated in real practice EVER! Our intelligence allows us to look at things outside of ourselves and go far beyond basic instinct which is what all other creatures rely solely on. Our intelligence (not wisdom, not instinct) is unique on this planet. No other creature can remotely come close to it. Period. So you rule out ETs that have not only developed similarly but have gone onto being spacefaring folks don't exist? We are the only smart ones? not to mention the beings living in the center of the planet, way underground..think I read that somewheres on here
