I guess I'll have to ask someone what I need to catch catfish. The only way I know to cook it is to fry it in cornmeal. |

Used to be able to fish out of the river that runs right in back of the house. Now the other side of the river (park side) warns that the fish in the river are not fit for human eating. Used to go up to the foot hills to hit a 'lake' - more or less just a large pond. They had issues with an invasive species, used poison and ended up wrecking the lake for the next couple of decades. OP Listen here.. If your are going to fish for a living and go beyond selling fresh fish you will need a way to freeze and package your catch. Do research in that direction. Most of my fish goes bad in teh freezer before I can eat it. Other than that fishing is fun! My license run out last month :( |
