Good questions. By any historical standard the US has been the most benign world power the world has seen. Compare it to Greece or Rome, or the Mongol empire for instance.

Moreover once we are gone, as so many are hoping for, the world will return to it's preferred form of government, tyranny.

Well just reading a part of the "earthquake" and north korea threads and everybody wants the earthquake to hit america and etc lol....

mostly for what they do outside their own borders.

something isn't right over in the US as i'm sure many of you will know.

for example, living outside of the US it really doesn't bother me who wins the republican nomination, but having said that we do have access to telivised debate etc. and have a tendancy to listen to what the nominees are saying.
purely from an outside perspective, when you listen to these debates from the nominees, and you'll have to trust me on this one, three of them are complete nut jobs hell bent on war, profit, terrorism, oppression, and one of them speaks peace, future, and COMMON SENSE but yet the overwhelming feeling is that to speak of peace is somehow crazy.

We don't! I think in the past your ego's were rather large (we are bigger and better than everyone else). But now you have shrunk back to reality realising we are all the same.

I know why. Although the citizens have little or nothing to do with it, we bully everyone. The govt. tries to paint this picture that we're crusaders on some life-changing mission to "save" everyone. What we're really doing is coming in and forcefully controlling people for our benefit. "Operation Iraqui Freedom" is the prime example of this.

I think the united states needs to learn how to mind its own fucking business. I love this country, but it needs to STOP fucking around in foreign affairs. We should not be fighting wars anywhere, or donating food or money to other countries for any reasons. I do not want my tax money going to help somebody else. I want my government to let me keep my fucking money that I work for, so that I can help my family. I wish that my government would learn to shut the fuck up and stop acting like a teenage girl...take some responsibility and at the very least pretend to act like an adult. Unfortunately our leadership is non-existent. We have some shit-show dunceclegg that thinks he is doing a great job. We have a congress to match him in uselessness. A worthless judiciary, that can't fucking just say hey,"Forcing people to pay for a service is unconstitutional" That is exactly what forced healthcare is. It is the government forcing you to buy a service. Mind your own fucking business dear government. It is isn't your fucking job to solve my problems. I would like to solve my own problems on my terms, and you are NOT welcome to try to help. If you had ever really wanted to help me, you would have stopped fucking robbing me every pay-period a long time ago. The US government is like a dogshit Midas. Everything it touches turns into a pile of shit.

I prefer a USA dictatorship to a China or Russia or even worst a Muslim country!

I have friends from almost every country as I worked in Television, went to music school in Boston and was in the Army as well. I can honestly say, that people do not generally HATE ANY country. There are some that do for every country, just as they do for either gender or any skin color, but there are more that do NOT hate others.


Travel, get to know people, it is not as bad as you think. Most people want to explore different countries and cultures. I still haven't been to every country on this planet myself!
