the thing with monsanto that i find really worrying, is that they tied their entire databases of patents, research, knowledge, stocks, trade of resources, et cetera into a giant trust management system. if they tie their contractors and customers also into this -which they could easily enforce- it allows them a very finegrained automated control and manipulation of anything that the multinational has control of, worldwide. the human element of a multinational corporation gets thrown away entirely, this way. leaving only room for computerised routines (algorithms, think artifical intelligence).

as far as i know, not many companies do this. usually, it's only the financial sector that uses trust management systems extensively. i'd love input from this from people who work for a chemical or pharmaceutical multinational.

if they made like a completely new species of fruit with stable genetics that will not pollinate anything else or spread... sure.

Farmers are already selecting seeds for thousands of years for their crops. Thanks to this natural selection proces, our local and "ancient" crops already takes the maximum of nutrients out the soil and water. Plants can't take more than what is available. GMO food can't have more nutrients than other crops because they are already on the maximum.
And using the same seeds in different soils and climates will never have the same output as using different seeds that fit each climate and/or soil.

The only way Monsanto food is superior is because it have better resistence to pesticides and other crap. This means that all this crap also come in your foodchain and in your body. Thus Monsanto food is definitly not more healthy.

Maybe you should look at the rat models that have the orange size tumors growing off them when fed only monsanto food compared to organic...sad you are poisoning your children
