Fukushima may have lost offsite power
I watch this cam everyday....It should be lit up like a X-mas tree.

They appear to be on Emergency Lighting only.

Ive looked for info about it, but I think it just happened.

Let's face it - THEY need Reactor 4 to blow up and contaminate the entire globe.

How else are they going to get the world's population down to half a billion, relatively quickly?

This may mean the pumps to SFP4 may be inoperable.

Thanks Remember for your continued monitering of the world wide nuclear situation. Since I don't moniter this regularly, I cannot tell if anything is remiss.

Sure looks like the camera is moving around a lot?

At least there hasn't been as many EQ's in the area in the last couple of days.

Normally the Emergency Backup Lighting wont come on unless main power is lost.

Exactly how is reactor 4, which was and remains empty, suppose to "blow up?"

I know. It's near full capacity. The above poster said the reactor would blow... big difference.

Re: Fukushima may have lost offsite power
ROENTGEN I'm guessing what he means is this. While #4 wasn't running it was and still is loaded with fuel which would need to be kept cool. Also he could be referring to the possible collapse of the storage fuel pool which could cause an explosion from the sudden closer together positioning of the fuel rods. The technical name is SUDDEN----event. It's on one of Gundersens early tapes.
