Anyway, I missed him big time and started a poster campaign with his name, photo and my mobile number and laminated them and posted them around the local area.... I was surprised at the response I received from fellow cat lovers... Just when I'd given up hope, I received a call at 8am on 1st Jan 2012 as someone had noticed him hiding in a local basement!!! I would suggest you try the same, and don't give up hope yet, although it was a tad worrying that you mentioned you heard a yelp and noticed that strange figure... Anyway, as I said, don't give up hope yet, and try the posters if you can! Good luck x |

As soon as I started running the can opener about 4 cats came running and he was one of them. Sounds crazy but it worked. If something can corrupt you, you're corrupted already. I was at Home Depot today and I bought a hammer and some plants... anyways when I came back there he was on the balcony sofa. I was right he was in the forest. He had seeds stuck in his fur and tail ... and he is hungrier than ever. He won't stop eating. I still would like to know what the thing was though... |

It is just how cats are. Sometimes they dont come home for days or weeks or at all. The risk is even higher if they arent spayed or nuetered. We have a feral-born Siberian. No one at the animal shelter wanted him and he was still a kitten, so we took him home. He did terribly when confined to the house. He hid all the time, peed on everything and was pretty much completely disagreeable. So when we moved to a better location, we started letteing him outside. He has made a 180 degree turnaround and is now a great cat because he has his freedom. But I know that one day he isnt going to come home, and thats ok. He gets to live his life the way he wants. Its just the risk you take with a free feline. |

But it very quickly got lonely and repetitive in bliss, so you decided to be born once more. You've been doing this forever. Whilst I may not agree with what you say, I will defend to the death my right to disagree with you. Some say "think outside the box". I say "what fucking box?!" xx:taosmilie: |

I once had a cat that used to sleep on my bed for years and one night I woke up to see him as he truly was, a hairless ugly little creature. I was horrified and thought I must be dreaming or seeing things so I reach out to touch him to jar me out of my confusion and it felt like he had a lizard like body. I couldn't believe it! I thought for sure that he would have soft fur......That really freaked me out. So I just laid there and stared at him for the longest time and he won't change back to my little sweet kittie. I was totally freaked out by this and finally decided that he wasn't there to hurt me so I finally went back to sleep. Woke up the next day and he looked like the cat that I had always known and loved. Always wondered about little moments like that when another dimension is revealed to us.... |

And if he loves you, he won't leave actually, because cats do love with everything they have. Having a cat that can be free, and its interrelation with people is a lovely example of how the world ought to go round. he probably won't leave, just make the best of both worlds he lives in, his and yours. which we all need to learn to do in our interacting worlds. To the cat we are gods in a way. They see in us, if well loved in return what they might become. And thus demonstrate how it ought to be with US and our interactions the cosmic mind within. Some cars ARE already "people". |

I don't want to leave him alone starving to death. Cats are resourceful. One of mine disappeared for two weeks came back a little thinner with dirty fur and acted like nothing had happened. I was pissed. Well cats are going to want to go outside every now and then, theyre animals. Dont know if they have a sense of time let alone a sense of how the owners would feel if they ran away though, so guess thats why your kitty came back in all casually lol.
