California seismologist: Earthquake swarm near Brawley will 'definitely last for days'

The earthquake swarm shaking near Brawley will continue for days, a Cal Tech seismologist told The Desert Sun on Sunday.

“It will definitely last for days. It’s possible it may last for weeks, but it’s unlikely,” Dr. Egill Hauksson said.

“These things do happen. Some of them are smaller. These are sort of the bigger sized ones.”

More than 200 quakes and aftershocks have struck so far at the same approximate epicenter, about 16 miles north of El Centro, according to preliminary reports from the U.S. Geological Survey.

These kinds of swarms happen about twice a decade, said Hauksson, who has been a seismologist for about 30 years. The epicenter and magnitude usually stay roughly the same.

This is a vision from someone that was posted in 2010 ( I cannot remember who it was ). It is about the Salton Sea - we will see if this does come true (raised the hair on the back of my neck when I read this):

Vision
There will be a large earthquake in Southern California on the portion of the San Andreas fault at the Southern portion of the Salton Sea.
The shore of the Salton Sea will subside about 30 feet on its Eastern shore, and this will cause a large wave of water to wash east from the Salton Basin against the mountain range immediately to the East of the Salton Sea. The Western shoreline of the sea will be higher than it once was, which will uncover some ancient Native-American artifacts on
the Western shoreline. **There will be a period of earthquake swarms on the Southern Shore of the Salton Sea before the large earthquake will come. ** There will be a large amount of hot mud boiling from the bottom of the sea, middle area immediately prior to the large earthquake.
There will be a large earthquake in Mexico on the Tecate divide and about 60-120 miles south of the Mexican-American border and within a few days the big earthquake on the Salton Sea will occur.

Just wanted to say I had a very strong feeling of pressure in my ear today--very strong. Haven't felt that in quite awhile.

Three hours ago there was a 7.0 (and a cluster of high 6's) at the Jan Mayan Island Region (approximately 10KM depth.)

I don't think this was O4all's Enormous Quake to come.

Another source is saying major earth changes to commence this month. Who knows except for God.

Wow, I just took a look at that! Those circles were hiding in the upper left corner of the page.

The pressure came on suddenly and lasted close to a minute, and it was strong.

In the past, I noticed that large quakes would happen within a two day time frame after receiving a strong pressure.

As I mentioned, I haven't experienced pressure in awhile so I'm curious as to see what will happen by the week's end.

BTW, it is a full moon and it seems sometimes with a full moon come bigger quakes.

Yes, like the one that happened in the Phillipines an hour ago.

I wonder if that 7.5 and 7.6 caused a tsunami as those quakes did not strike on land. Yikes.

They did get a small tsunami from the quake as reported by CNN:

Manila, Philippines (CNN) -- A major earthquake offshore of the Philippines sent people scrambling toward higher ground, generated a small tsunami and killed at least one person Friday, authorities said.

I am scratching my head wondering why they cancelled a tsunami warning. Those people would not have had to scramble if they would have known (and one person would not have been killed).

A short time ago Magnitude 7.9 off the coast of Costa Rica. There has been a tsunami warning issued.

The earth is now passing through an oort cloud. Expect more enormous quakes to come.

Scientists are saying the solar system is passing through an interstellar oort cloud. This is the theory:

Astrophysicist Alexei Dmitriev says that both Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 satellites reveal that our sun, as well as our entire solar system, is now moving into an interstellar energy cloud.
Opher, a NASA Heliophysics Guest Investigator from George Mason University says this interstellar energy cloud is turbulent.
Dmitriev explains that this cloud of energy is exciting the atmospheres of our planets and especially our sun. As this interstellar energy cloud continues to excite/charge the sun, it causes the sun to become more active, resulting in greater output from the sun. IE: Bigger and more frequent solar storms and CME's resulting in the Carrington effect.
This interstellar cloud of electrical energy is also absorbed by the Earth, and scientist have found that it results in more earth quakes, all while dramatically effecting our weather here on earth.
