Would not him having others perform the Tate killings, him coming up with the plan to murder Tate and the Labianca's, also giving them the address to where they lived make him an accessory?

He also was the one who went inside the Labianca's first and tied them up, then went outside to give the order for their murders before driving home while others did his dirty deeds.
