I have a 6 year old Trac Phone. They keep telling me I need to "upgrade" and I tell them to shove it - if they cut me off they are violating their own Terms and Conditions and I let them know that. Therefore, you purchase them online and of course, since you do not care you do not pay attention to the fact several advertising sites and google have used a 443 secure connection to your computer while making the purchase.

A secure connection means they re able to collect far more personal information concerning you and you suddenly find that you re receiving e-mail on your work computer asking you to purchase adult diapers from them instead of the other company you used. Explain that away to you peers and tell me you no longer care what personal information all these parasitic sites collect concerning your habits.

Try some research into programs that can tell you what sites re connecting to your computer and see how many times Google, Facebook, Paypal and Twitter use secure connection to your computer. Try the easy way with an older version of Opera where you can designate a secure connection asks permission first and I guarantee you will be in for a rude awakening.

I deleted my Facebook profile 4 days ago. I feel liberated like a burden has been lifted from me. The icing on the cake was when I found a page that showed hundreds of sites that I visited for the previous 3 months somewhere within the settings. Facebook then started posting every news article I read for emy friends to see.

This is the worst part. They will not immediately delete your account. instead I have to wait 14 days and if I log in just once it canceled the deletion process and I have to start over. So make sure your username or password isn't saved n your browser or phone app because if automatically logs in you have to start over. They don't want you to leave. 2 week waiting period. Wtf

I'm a well adjusted non-conformist so this just baffles me.
