How come no one has mentioned two of the most horrific movies ever made?



and Buried Alive. no not the new one of a few years ago, the one from the 80's where the guys sleeps in bed with his dead wife and kills joggers and disposes of the bodies in acid. I cannot find the trailer on youtube.

Ever see Silent night Deadly Night?

Ever read the book, "Ice Man"?

The psycho thug who did contract killings for the NY Mob used to take victims out to caves, in Pennsylvania, to be devoured, while still alive, by rats.

He filmed it, and got well paid for his services.

Even some hardcore Mafia hit-men got sick, watching his films.

I've got that one on DVD.

It's totally sick, but one of the hot, mature babes in it, has a smokin' bod!

The Plague Dogs (1982). Animated film about dogs who are being used to test medicine.

The Black Panther (1977). Film based on real life robber and murderer Donald Neilson. Recently restored and released on Blu-ray/DVD.

Basket Case. Maybe not the sickest, but for sure the biggest WTF movie ever.

What makes someone like or even want to watch these movies?

Are there movies, or even a genre, that is "disturbing" or "unsettling" without being particularly gory? I would be interested in the entertainment value of those.

I have no idea. I have a weak stomach so I can't watch them.
