 But you're forgetting the other parts though.... like being lynched for no reason at all... whipped for no reason at all... raped for no reason at all... etc.... Slaves lived in constant fear of their lives while breaking their backs all day just so "Master" can be wealthy... while the "uneducated working poor" of today live in fear of maybe not eating for that day... or their surroundings are a bit dangerous (gangbanging.. drug dealing.. etc...).. that still is WAAAAY less fearful than having a "Master" that could literally decide to burn your ass along with your family just on a whim... or maybe because the "Master" caught you FUCKING READING he's gonna decide to lynch you or whip you to death. THAT'S FUCKING HORRIBLE IN THE WORST WAY!!!! It's fuckin' insane to think slaves had it better off.... fuckin nuts Yeah, that part wasn't all that great. Even worse was when my grandparents came over and they would have old slaves falling over dead next to them.
