Anonymous Coward User ID: 11654871 United States 04/12/2012 11:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | people please really calm down, the 14,00 fish headline sounds scary, but on the other hand, I live by that creek and yes, I personally saw the area that got burned down to debunk this theory: the fire burned the O Reilly store, anti freeze, oils, and what else burned down, and yes, the location of the creek and the burned down area in close proximity which makes more possible than not that the fire department in an effort to put out the fire quickly created a massive kill shot of heavily polluted water trickling to the creek, resulting in the killing of lots of fish. You have to be here to see it, I am reporting live from the site! |

It also sounds like it could possibly be air traffic of some sort. But when put in conjunction with the fish dying, it seems more plausible. I won't rule anything out. It's only a matter of time before something hits around here |

I was contacted by the conservation dept. about this, they couldn't find any residual pollutant at all. I manage a large ag consulting firm and have 2 pathologist that I've had direct contact with and they are looking into several'other ' possibilities. I still believe the fire had something to do with it, but i was assured it didn't.That creek runs directly through the heart of the town so who knows. Its got some people very worked up, this combined with the severe temperature fluctuations and plant anomalies(oak decline, bacterial leaf scorch to name a few). Don't drink distilled water... It lacks ions which allow proper hydration. In face it leeches ions out to urine, compared to sea water. $.02 |
